Really liked the touch of putting your name on a list on check-in to have a wake up call when the northern lights were active. Amazing views of the northern lights and very good value for money. This hotel is on Akureyri’s main street, Hafnarstraeti, less than 2 km from Akureyri Airport. It offers en-suite guest rooms, free parking and views of the Eyjafjörður fjord. Husavík is 90 km away. We stayed at one of the apartments, super convenient with fully equipped kitchen and even a washing/drying machine. Excellent breakfast too! Really loved it!
