This perfect little haven in the Petite France area of Strasbourg was an ideal base to explore this beautiful historic city. This renovated old building has everything - character, history, vintage furniture and modern facilities. We visited Strasbourg during the Christmas Market and while it was only a few minutes walk to the major market squares and the local restaurants, the immediate vicinity was pretty quiet - almost no vehicle traffic and just a few pedestrians, who mostly seemed to be taking their kids to the school opposite. We only saw one staff member (I’m sure there must be others) but he was very welcoming and informative, giving us good tips on where to go. We loved our room, which was very nicely furnished, but also had plenty of power points, a device charger on the desk and the most fantastic shower.

It’s truly a hidden gem. While the hotel and its facilities have sort of an old-school charm, it has a great vibe. The rooms are very stylish, and the view from the top-floor balcony is breathtaking. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is within walking distance to the city center, making it a perfect option for a quick day trip.

Located in front of the train station, ibis Strasbourg Centre Gare is a 24-hour reception hotel with a bar and air-conditioned rooms with an LCD TV with cable channels. All was perfect! The breakfast is good . I recommend this hotel.
