Hotel Indalo adults only se nachází v centru města Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, pouhé 3 minuty chůze od pláže Salsa Brava, a nabízí rozlehlou zahradu, sluneční terasu a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Velmi doporučuji!! Hotel se nachází v klidné části Puerta a přitom jste téměř v centru. Na stromech přímo z hotelu můžete pozorovat lenochody. Vůbec nám nevadilo, že hotel nezahrnuje snídani. V městečku máte spoustu možností, kam zajít na jídlo. Pro nás to bylo nejlepší ubytování z celé Kostariky. Možná protože, Puerto má unikátní vibe. Pokoj byl velmi čistý, moderní, prostorný s dobře řešenou koupelnou. Rozhodně bychom se sem vrátili.

Hotel El Encanto se nachází ve městě Cahuita, pouhých 50 metrů od pláže, a nabízí bazén a restauraci. K dispozici je bezplatné Wi-Fi, snídaně zdarma a soukromé terasy. Everything, perfect location, great rooms, excellent staff. Oh, and while we were there a mother sloth and her baby, and a male sloth were literally hanging around on the property. Marvellous.

Set on a riverbank and surrounded by jungle, Tortuga Lodge offers an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving fusion cuisine with Caribbean flavours. All rooms have river views. Great location, spacious room, beautiful garden full of animals (sloth, monkeys, iguanas). Food is very good (all fresh), Staff is super friendly, with a special mention for all the guides (Juan, Jayjay, Miguel). Fantastic 3 days

Offering a beautiful tropical forest setting, Le Cameleon Hotel is a walking distance from Cocles beach in Puerto Viejo. This luxurious resort features a beach club, an outdoor swimming pool and a... Look no further, book this place - we had the best stay! Firstly, it is the best location, short drive to Puerto Viejo but also walking distance of plenty of great restaurants and supermarkets nearby, you can even walk to the Jaguar Rescue. It feels like you're right in the jungle, the landscaping around the hotel is done so well, with the boardwalks through the trees, so all rooms feel really private and quiet and there is wildlife including sloths right amongst the trees in the hotel! Breakfast was great, and in the best spot looking right at the beach. The pools were lovely (we found three during our stay) and all the beach loungers etc. Staff were all really friendly and helpful and nice. DO NOT MISS the morning wildlife walk with the Jungle Man!! We saw eleven sloths in one hour as well as toucans, monkeys and much more! That guy is a legend.

Hotel Banana Azul se nachází na pláži Playa Negra, 2,5 km od centra města Puerto Viejo, a nabízí venkovní bazén a velkou zahradu. Ve všech prostorách je zdarma dostupné Wi-Fi. Ubytování bylo skvělé, krásná terasa, příroda a hned u pláže. Dobré jídlo.

Situated 150 metres from Playa Cocles Beach, Caribe Town Bungalows offers tropical gardens and a pool with a swim-up bar. Puerto Viejo town is just 3 km away. This place met and exceeded our expectations. The owners (Joel & Karilily) are super down to earth and passionate about their little piece of paradise. The host (Kat) and chef (Sebastian) were absolutely a pleasure to spend time with at breakfast and in the evenings for happy hour. Made from scratch breakfast every morning was delicious and a great way to start your day. The grounds are beautiful and we saw a momma sloth and her baby as well as a larger baby sloth that lived on the premises. I could not possibly say enough good things about this place. Love, Love Love!

Lizard King Hotel & Suites se nachází pouhých 50 metrů od pláže Salsa Brava a nabízí venkovní bazén obklopený tropickými rostlinami. Všechny světlé pokoje mají bezplatné Wi-Fi a malou lednici. The room was exactly as in the picture, comfy beds and A/C worked perfect. It is located next to many cafes, restaurants and the beach is accross the street. The pool was clean and staff super friendly. They also have a parking in the back which was great.
