A conduzione familiare, insignito di 4 stelle e situato proprio sulle rive del Lago di Lugano, questo hotel offre ristoranti, il WiFi gratuito e una piscina all'aperto esposta a sud con accesso... Best hotel ever!! The lake views, the staff, the spacious room, the balcony, the restaurant (amazing Italian food with unbelievably friendly and professional waiters), the gym (again with lake views), the pool (right on the lake), the direct deck to the lake. There was a problem with the vent (smell from the kitchen vent reached the room). I told the front desk and immediately got another room - with an even better view. Such a combination of friendliness and high-end service. I want to bring all my family and friends to enjoy this hotel, and will definitely be back.

Un tempo residenza patrizia settecentesca, l'Hotel Tamaro sorge proprio sulle rive del Lago Maggiore, nel centro di Ascona. Beautifully appointed hotel, right on the promenade. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time we are is Ascona.

Location is great in the central, 10 minutes walk from the train station. The view from the windows is amazing at the lakeside. Staff was really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast place has a nice atmosphere and they offer several varieties for breakfast in good quality.
