This quaint hotel with a homely feel was right in the middle the old town. The location was just fabulous within walking distance of most tourist attractions and a short walk to the tram. The atmosphere was so vibrant and rich in history and culture all just on your doorstep. Staff were exceptional and catered to our every need. Rooms were beautiful and breakfast was good.. I will most definitely be returning.

Hotel Kandilj is situated in the heart of the bazaar Baščaršija in the oldest part of Sarajevo, combining a traditional Bosnian atmosphere and modern comfort. Free WiFi access is available. We really loved the cosy feeling of this place and the authentic vibe. All of the staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice. Each day we got real Bosnian coffee to go with it. We will return! :)

Our stay at this apartment was exceptional, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location is ideal, being near the center and just a 10-minute walk away from the main attractions. This made it incredibly convenient to explore the old city center, visit local shops, and dine at nearby restaurants. The private parking was a major plus, especially considering the narrow streets in the area. The owner provided us with detailed instructions on the best way to reach the apartment by car, ensuring a smooth arrival. This attention to detail was evident throughout our stay. The apartment itself was very spacious and impeccably clean. We were delighted with the beautiful environment it was set in, featuring a well-maintained garden that added to the charm of our stay. The room was not only clean but also very comfortable, with a cozy bed that guaranteed a good night's sleep after our daily adventures. One of the highlights of our stay was the host. They were incredibly nice and helpful, always responding quickly to any questions we had. Their local knowledge was invaluable, as they assisted us with navigation to the old city center and recommended some fantastic restaurants that we thoroughly enjoyed. In conclusion, we highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in a beautiful setting. L'Halvat Hotel si trova nel centro di Sarajevo, a 100 metri da Baščaršija, il più antico bazar della città, e offre camere climatizzate con arredi esclusivi e connessione WiFi gratuita. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and the location is close to the old town area. They also helped us get a taxi to the airport very early in the morning. Would stay here again!

The decor was modern and stylish, giving the space a warm and inviting feel. The location of the apartment was perfect for our needs. It was situated in the heart of Sarajevo, making it easy for us to explore the city and take in all of its cultural and historical landmarks. Additionally, the apartment was conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy for me to get around the city without a car. I really appreciated the free parking provided by the hosts. This was a huge benefit, as I did not want to worry about parking in the busy city center. Overall, my experience at the Modern City Apartments was outstanding. Kanita and Admir were gracious and welcoming hosts, and the apartment exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I've been travelling alone since I was 19 and this hotel made me feel at home. They serve fresh and delicious breakfast everyday (not your typical European so-called breakfast, they serve a real one) and make sure you're really full! They have the kindest and most helpful staff I've ever met, literally cannot thank them enough... They serve you hot drinks in the lobby, the hotel is historical and well-decorated. As a solo female traveler, I can assure you it's a very safe hotel! Mr. Tolga makes sure you make the best of your stay. Air conditioner and heaters work perfectly. Towels, robes, slippers, shampoo etc, they provide everything you'll need. Sauna, hammam and jacuzzi are clean and hot. The room welcomes you with mini cookies, sherbet and water. Housekeeping seals the toilet with a sticker after each check-out to show it's been cleaned for you. Lastly, the location! No hotel in the country can beat this one's location, it couldn't be any better! In a few minutes, you can reach to a supermarket, Bascarsija, Latin Bridge, City Hall etc, the best restaurants etc... Don't even consider booking any other places. Interior is like a living Ottoman era... I thank each and every person who works here. They built an amazing team!
