Absolutely wonderful stay at Saltbush. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly man (his name escapes me) who gave us a great recommendation for a butcher so we could get some steaks for dinner. The entire place is cozy and rustic. We didn’t use the baths but they looked so cool! Rooms were spacious, our cabin looked out onto some grass with kangaroos grazing, which was a delight for our 9 month old. It had everything we needed, including wine glasses, I only wish we’d bought a bottle from them! Highly recommend, we had a lovely little stay :)

The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. The hotel is not the biggest one but it has a lot more than expected of services provided such as board games, books, dvd, ice box, pram, trolley, bicycles. They also have a private bbq in the room balcony.

Offering an outdoor pool and a fitness centre, Empire Apartment Hotel Rockhampton is positioned along the Fitzroy River. Guests enjoy an on-site restaurant, free WiFi and private parking. It was fantastic experience to stay here. There was a spacious room, friendly staff, good river view and an excellent location.
