The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. Great staff, very good location and free equipment hire. Felt like home!

Set on over 140 acres of native forest and boasting a private beach, Thala Beach Nature Reserve is an Eco-friendly wildlife retreat. Nice to encounter nature right outside your door! The pool was a highlight, really unique.

The deluxe apartment was well laid out with a balcony overlooking the garden and pool. The real treasure at this property is Ken, the owner of this property. His interest and kindness towards his guests is wonderful. He is full of local information, recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. He genuinely cares and is interested in his guests Ken, made our stay an exceptional experience. I would definitely recommend this property and stay here again

There is crockery and cutlery available and the microwave and small fridge in the room is really useful. There is a heated pool and camp bbq. Would definitely recommend!

The villa is much larger than I expected and has a tropical renovation style. The resort has a lot of tropical plants and it feels like blended into the nature. Parking is easy and it only takes a few minutes to drive to Port Douglas town center.
