The hotel is beautifully and centrally located with a view over Wolfgangsee. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The host is very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for activities. We really liked the atmosphere at the hotel too — it felt very homely and personal, unlike big chain hotels. We also really enjoyed the private lakeside garden, which was a perfect spot for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip in the lake.

After warming up well in the sauna, it's worth taking a quick dip in the icy waters of Lake St. Wolfgang, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. We loved the hotel’s unique style. It’s not just a place to stay but an experience we’ll always remember and want to return to.

All rooms are equipped with a seating area and satellite TV. The rooms have a double bed with separate mattresses. If you come to Hallstad by car, this hotel is for you! The location of the hotel is excellent, from the window we could see the salt mine, the historical part is just around the corner. The staff is very welcoming and was able to resolve the issue since we did not specify a child and our room was not designed for three. The problem has been resolved, but this can be critical if the hotel does not have additional options, so be sure to inform the hotel about this if you are planning a trip with a child.
