The accommodation was of a very good standard with all the amenities we would expect. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was well kitted out and a good size. In addition to staying we had two evening meals featuring locally sourced products and cooked in a traditional Portuguese way. The quality of the cooking was excellent.

The private outside eating area & barbeque were just perfect (we had the 2 bed bungalow). The swimming pool was a great size with beautiful gardens around it - fabulous to have a swim after a day out walking in the area. The surrounding area is beautiful - we found some small roads to walk down to the lake without having to risk walking on the main road - google maps was very useful here as maps of the area aren't very clear. Also recommend picking up a walking route/attractions map from the Tourist info office. Great welcome from Carla who was always contactable if we had a query with anything. We had a very nice meal in the restaurant about 10mins walk up the road from the house.

He suggested the best order to visit the sites in the park on a certain weather and the roads to take, so that we don't waste our limited time we were there. The owner and his wife were very nice. The breakfast and dinner were very good with local produce. The presentation of the meals was beautifully done. The room we stayed was very quiet.
