Clean. Aesthetically pleasing. Nice pool. Walkable distance to beach. Good WIFI. Hot water. Lots of outdoor solace with loungers and chairs to relax on.

Ruwan Jungle Homestay se nachází v Mirisse (jih) a nabízí kola zdarma, zahradu, soukromou pláž, terasu, vybavení pro grilování a výhled do zahrady. Home from home! Ruwan and his family couldn’t have made us feel more welcome to their lovely Homestay. Nothing was too much trouble. The room had a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The shower was powerful and in the heat a welcome relief. Our room was on the small side but this wasn’t a problem as the outside space had a hammock, table and chairs. Breakfast was served daily by Ruwan and his lovely daughter. It was fresh and plentiful and always delivered with a big smile. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t great and took some getting used to. Ruwan did kindly offer to change our room but we declined as we didn’t want to inconvenience him with another room to clean. However it is only fair to share this information. We stayed 4 Nights with Ruwan and his family and everyday he checked on our welfare, if we needed anything or a ride anywhere. He organised a wonderful Whale watching trip for us, one we would recommend, as a must when in this area. Ruwan kindly cooked us a delicious Sri Lanka. Fish supper despite his wife only day’s earlier giving birth to their son. On New Years Day the family invited us for breakfast in their home. The food was plentiful, delicious and a reflection of this family’s kindness and willingness to share their hospitality with us. I urge Anyone in this area to visit Ruwan and his family if wanting an authentic experience. Ruwan, thank you , we will be back. You are in our hearts forever. Xox

Three Gables Boutique Villa se nachází v Mirisse (jih) a poskytuje ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a klimatizací, venkovní bazén a sdílený lounge. We had a truly wonderful stay at Three Gable’s Boutique in Sri Lanka. The rooms are excellent with breathtaking views, and the pool is perfectly tempered for relaxation. The food was outstanding, we enjoyed dinner there every evening because it was so delicious, and one night we were treated to an authentic Sri Lankan dinner that was unforgettable. A very special thank you to Suresh and to Sanuka, who was also incredibly kind, attentive, and dedicated. The whole team goes above and beyond to create a calm, peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family. We tried to think of something we didn’t like, but honestly, there wasn’t anything, it was simply perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sinharaja Vini Villa. The location is beautiful next to the river and close to Sinharaja Forrest reserve. It's so peaceful, nice place to relax. The hosts are such a lovely family, very welcoming. All the family are involved in running the homestay. We also had dinner there, the portions are generous, and also beautiful fresh fruit juices. To walk in Sinharaja forest you need a guide as paths are not clearly marked, our host arranged a guide for the day hike, and was very kind as we arrived back late (we took ages with taking photos) and we were able to shower and freshen up, and had complimentary fruit juice before our onward journey. Our shoes got really muddy, and our host kindly washed them, and dried them for us. Also the accommodation can arrange you transport with good safe drivers. Would certainly recommend staying there, especially if you love a quiet time, nature and Forrest.

Saltasia Boutique Beach Villa poskytuje restauraci, venkovní bazén, zahradu a terasu. Pláž Thalaramba Beach se nachází několik kroků odtud. Everything was perfect, this villa is a piece of art located in front of the sea. You wake up with the wave's sounds. The food is delicious, the service perfectly curated and the guys that are working there make the difference. Thank you so much, we hope to come back soon

Ubuntu by Lantern je hotel situovaný v Mirisse ve správní oblasti Matara, 3,7 km od sídla agentury Whale Watching Mirissa organizující plavby změřené na pozorování velryb. What can I say if I could give this nice boutique hotel more than 10 points I would have happily done it. So perfect I cannot find words to explain how comfortable the stay was. It was that good. We were looked after by Mr. Yowan the house keeper was such a nice guy and he was so helpful. And the rest of the staff was also amazing. We will definitely come back again.

Tree House-Midigama poskytuje restauraci, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Pláž Midigama Beach se nachází 1,4 km odtud. The treehouse is amazing - we had a wonderful stay. The hosts were so kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! I can highly recommend staying here. The property was really peaceful and relaxing. We wish we had more time to spend here and explore the lovely garden.

Sira´s Chalets se nachází přímo na pláži a nabízí klimatizované chaty s bezplatným Wi-Fi a terasou, ze které je výhled na moře. We loved our time at Sira Chalet in Mirissa! The location is unbeatable—literally right on the beach, so morning swims and sunset views were just steps away. The beach itself is gorgeous and never felt crowded. A huge thank-you to our host, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He even arranged a car for our ride back to Colombo, which made the trip home stress-free. Great vibe, perfect setting, and wonderful hospitality. Highly recommend!
