The staff was super nice and helpful. Besides they spoke English perfectly, so it was easy to communicate. There were three types of breakfast to choose from: Continental, Sri Lankan and Indian.

A quiet, very nice place close to the forest, but only about a 10 mins walk from the city. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, the shower was the best! There's a shared kitchen at the guests disposal, and there are nice, big common spaces. Our host, Madusanka, was really helpful, very attentive and very nice. He carried my daughter to the car when she wasn't feeling well, he asked our driver to stop at the pharmacy, and he even messaged me afterwards to ask how my daughter was doing. Thanks for your help! He keeps the house in order and running it very well. Highly recommend this place!

This is an excellent property, minutes away from the town center but what sets it apart is the attention to detail and great service We stayed in the cabana, a two-storied cottage next to the main building. It’s a lovely place with a sitting area on the ground level and the bedroom upstairs. The photos of the interior on the website show a luxurious, well-fitted space and the place lives up to this in every way. We were here in end November and the Christmas Tree was up adding a festive touch Food is good and plentiful (Tip: Opt for the Sri Lankan curry and rice) and service is outstanding. A special mention here for Avishka who was exceptional

The owner is incredibly polite, helpful, and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The breakfast served was a highlight, featuring homemade delights such as fresh strawberry juice, jam made from their own farm, and a delicious banana milkshake. Each item was thoughtfully prepared and exemplified the homestay’s dedication to quality and hospitality. Our accommodation was spacious and well-appointed, offering excellent value for the price. The owner also provided invaluable recommendations for the best local dining spots and must-visit attractions, enhancing our overall experience. This homestay combines outstanding service, exceptional amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking to explore the area. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future.

My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.
