City Oasis Guesthouse is located at a small village in the outskirts of Tung Chung on Lantau Island. It features free WiFi throughout the property. The house was in a beautiful natural location. It was about 10 minute walk down a cement path to a village with no cars. The guesthouse was truly an oasis, surrounded by greenery and birds. Both the balcony of my room and the rooftop area gave wonderful views of the surrounding beauty. Terry kept the place impeccably clean and orderly. There was a well equipped kitchen that I used to make breakfast and sometimes a small dinner. Terry was super helpful, providing ideas of places to go and how to get there. His maps of the area and the public transportation were welcome for a solo traveler trying to get around Lantau Island. It was a perfect base to explore the area. I hiked on the trail from the guest house, which was wonderful. And took public transportation to see the big Buddha and the fishing villages. There are some restaurants and a grocery store in the housing complex near the trail to the guesthouse so everything was in walking distance.

Featuring free WiFi, Bali Holiday Resort offers accommodation in Hong Kong. Victoria Peak is 6 km from the property. Bali Holiday Resort is a 4-minute walk from Yung Shue Wan Ferry Pier. You would think that booking an accomodation on Lamma Island would make life difficult but we found it actually to be a pleasent surprise. Gives a bit of an extra touch with having to take the ferry which has frequent departures and cost about 2€/ride. The accomodation is very good value for the money especially in Hong Kong. AC was working, local breakfast offered at nearby restaurant was delicious and the staff was nice!

Located in Hong Kong Mui Wo, Seaview Holiday Resort is just 200 meters away from the Silvermine Beach and 12-minute walk from Mui Wo Ferry Pier. Very nice stuff, the owner is super nice. And breakfast is included

The sea is right under the balcony! A great place to fall asleep to the sound of the waves, and in the morning go out onto the balcony and admire the sunrise. Comfortable large bed. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants around. Very nice place, I would come back again.
