We were asked about dietary requirements in advance and just hoped we might get some nondairy milk, we got so much more - mushrooms, bread, jam, marmite, plant based butter (not marg), cereal, granola, berries, orange juice, tea and coffee and all good quality (Waitrose). Honestly excellent :)

The quintessential English B&B. Hosts were wonderful and shared lots of local information. Bed was comfortable and Breakfast was delicious. Perfectly located within walking distance of great food and coffee right in the middle of the New Forest. Highly recommend.

Cottage Lodge Hotel is set in the Victorian village of Brockenhurst, nestled in the heart of the New Forest National Park. This charming 17th-century residence offers cosy rooms, as well as tea, coffee and cake on arrival. Cottage Lodge was very comfortable and had excellent facilities. The breakfasts were excellent and the selections of breakfast meals were all enjoyable. The hotel was perfect for us as we could walk to the bike rental near the train station to pick up our bikes. As we did two days of biking, it worked out well. Having a designated car parking spot was nice as we always had a spot to park. From the hotel you can walk to the restaurants and pubs, no need to drive.

This cottage was adorable.It had everything needed for a comfortable stay.The cottage was very well maintained ,pristine and immaculate.Its location was easy to find with sat nav and what 3 words.It is situated in easy reach by car to many places of interest to visit . It is a 3 min walk to the common and a local pub down the lane.Stone henge and Beaulieu approx half an hours drive away for example.The accommodation was lovely with added touches like fragrant candles to add ambience. The outside space was inviting to include a bbq and throws and cushions to bring the inside out.All in all this property was just charming .Quiet for the evenings just chilling in the outside space or watching TV. The hosts have thought of everything needed even down to an umbrella by the door. It was just lovely.

A recently renovated guest house set in Brockenhurst, Chestnut Cottage New Forest features a garden. It is situated 11 km from Beaulieu and offers bicycle parking. As advertised, the house is located in a serene countryside, surrounded by farms, there was ample car parking available, responses from the host were prompt, instructions regarding the location, access to keys, heating system, wi-fi were clear. The house itself was spacious, bright, very clean, all amenities as advertised were made available. It had a spacious conservatory where we spent long time chatting and enjoying the beautiful views. Kids had ample space to play, watch tele, chat including a back huge garden for sports. overall it was a very enjoyable experience, away from the noise of city life and would highly recommend for a group of family /friends looking for quality break
