A magic place in the middle of country side and nature. The owner is a kind people and he let us free to arrive without any time. The cottage is perfect. You can find all you need to stay well included cooking accessories and a barbecue outside. 15min by car and you are in Silkeborg where you can sail on a steam boat or rent canoes on the lake. But you can rent bike and have a ride in the country or in cycle paths. 45min by car and you are in Billund area with airport and Legoland park. But the best moment is come back to the cottage and breath the nature. One morning 3 wild rabbits arrive during our breakfast...

The breakfast probably the best I’ve had at any location and the host -Tove is there to ensure that all requirements are met.

A very charming place, with lots of character. The host was very nice and check in was easy. The bed was comfortable. It feels like you are out in the country, but it was only a 12 minute drive from town.

Situated in Grenå, within 20 km of Djurs Sommerland, Modern Retreat close to everything in Djursland offers accommodation with air conditioning. The property has garden views. The house was very spacious, perfectly equipped, and beautifully decorated with style. The communication with the host was excellent and very friendly. Unfortunately, I only stayed for one night while returning from vacation, which is a shame – I’d love to come back for a longer stay next time.

A lot of space, a nice garden; we had everything we needed. The host greeted us very friendly and even built up a little water game for our child to play in the garden because the sun was shining nicely.
