Hearing the sound of the ocean from the deck and having direct access to a private beach was so special. We saw orca whales breaching which was so lucky! Bedrooms were comfortable and the space was very clean with everything we needed.

This is a beautifully renovated space and very comfortable, clean and private. The host was very responsive and helpful via text and there is parking. We walked to the beach and picnic area which is just down the street and enjoyed our stay - highly recommended.

Exceptional hosts, immaculate property, quiet and practical setting. Close to the amenities of Sechelt, Joyveal's Homey Place was an ideal base for our two-week stay on The Sunshine Coast. We found the house to be spacious, well-maintained and pristine. The kitchen has everything you need, including items like coffee, tea, foil, kitchen roll and washing up liquid. The wrap-round garden is delightful with an abundance of seating areas, foliage and water features. Jovy and Leah are amazing hosts. They responded immediately to our communications. If you're still thinking about whether to go to The Sunshine Coast, I can honestly say it is possibly the most stunning landscape I have ever seen - expanses of forest meet gorgeous bays. Our favourite places were Chatterbox Falls, Skookumchuk Narrows, Pender Harbour and Halfmoon Bay. Thank you, Jovy and Leah, for being great hosts. This surely was a holiday of a lifetime.

Great bonuses like a built in speaker system with a cd library and candles to light with your bubble bath. Breathtaking view, close to town but also away from it all. So easy to book and chat with hosts - very responsive.

Great Location, fully stocked kitchen, clean and comfy. Hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Our hosts were very attentive and informative. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen well presented. The porch and swing chair were a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast and tea/cake. Well stocked IGA close by for provisions. Lots of lovely walks nearby. I asked about seeing some specific wildlife and was pointed to perfect spots. We were blessed with lovely weather but plenty of DVD's and games to make it a lovely stay even if you weren't so lucky. View is wonderful and we had deer walking across the garden as we watched them.

It is truely original and the location is amazing. Right near the beach and in the wonderful town. The apartment is very comfortable and I have felt super welcomed by casey and Lorraine. I was traveling with my dog, excellent location to be with your furry friend. Also enjoyed the hot tub very much and the nice and cosy bed. Definitely recommend staying here! Wish I had had more time to spend here. 😃
