Cottages in Tösse

Big cabin with private bathroom. Friendly staff who provided smooth check-in for us at late night with an ad-hov booking. Not to mention the unbeatable price we got. Great surroundings and clean interior.

Location near the water is brilliant for arriving by kayak.

Raben‘s Cottage is a very cosy place, you feel that initially it had not been meant for renting, but that people furnished and equipped it with great care for everyday life. We felt very much at home and enjoyed the sauna and sitting before the chimney. The owner is a very nice and helpful person.

Lovely house in a great location! There is a washing machine and dryer in the basement if you need to do your laundry. My personal highlight was the coated pan in the kitchen- the freshly caught fish was wonderful to fry in it. The WiFi didn't work but the owner informed us beforehand that it would be fixed soon.

Fully equipped house, comfortable.

This place is perfect for families – swing, sandpit, playhouse with slide, and a trampoline kept the kids happy. The internet is lightning fast, which was a big plus (300mbit, and that in the forest). The house has a cozy “grandma’s hunting lodge” feeling – warm wooden furniture, rustic details, and a sense of tradition that makes you feel instantly at home. It’s the kind of atmosphere where you can imagine sitting down with a cup of coffee after a walk in the forest, surrounded by memories and stories from generations past. At the same time, everything is functional, clean, and in good working order, which made the stay very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming – I was even greeted with a homemade welcome cake! Everything was spotless clean and very well organized. The bed was honestly the best I’ve slept in so far in Sweden – not too soft and spongy like most others, but really comfortable. The nearby lake is just around the corner, although the weather didn’t give me the chance for a swim this time. A very quiet location where I slept exceptionally well. Highly recommended! Note: Of course you need to be aware, that you should either bring your own bed linen or you can rent some via the hosts and electricity is charged extra Both is common in Sweden but might be surprising for an international traveller not so familiar with the Scandics. But it's absolutely not a deal breaker and reasonable. You'll even be able to get some, it you missed out on that like me. It is stated in the rental conditions though, but who does really read them?

House was exactly as described. Very green neighbourhood.

It was a nice and very quiet cottage to stay in for two nights, rather old but yet comfortable and clean. What you need is in the cottage, the furniture is good and the twinbed is very comfortable. Very pleasant were the lightproof curtains and the airco. We enjoyed the large garden to relax in the shade when it was 27 degrees. We did the trip on the Dalslandcanal and can recommend it! The owner, Kirsti-Marie, lives in the house nextdoor, she is very friendly and the people who live closeby as well.
