Absolutely wonderful. Just sorry we were only there 1 night. Ideal accommodation to get down to Victoria Resevoir for the seaplane or if you are a golfer. Lovely gardens with a very clean swimming pool, steam and sauna and also a jacuzzi. Location, room, food and all those we interacted with on site were exceptional. We were well looked after by the chefs Mr Anoora and Mr Benidict and also by barman/waiter Ayesh.

Our stay at Royal Mountain Edge, Knuckles was nothing short of magical! As part of our Sri Lankan tour, we arrived on 07/07/2025, and from the moment we stepped into this peaceful retreat, we felt completely at home. We requested a guided hike, a nature walk, and an educational tour focused on the rich flora and fauna of the Knuckles region—and the team delivered beyond our expectations. Every experience was thoughtfully curated, offering the perfect balance of adventure and insight. The infinity pool with its breathtaking mountain views quickly became our favorite spot to relax. The authentic Sri Lankan meals were a true culinary delight, bursting with flavor and tradition. One of the most memorable evenings was spent by the crackling bonfire, enjoying a delicious BBQ dinner under the stars—pure magic! Thank you to the wonderful hosts at Royal Mountain Edge for creating such a warm, welcoming, and unforgettable experience. We left with full hearts, beautiful memories, and a deep appreciation for this hidden gem. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful escape into nature!

We had an amazing stay at the villa! It’s located within a stunning Victory community , offering both tranquility and beautiful surroundings. The architecture of the villa is impressive and adds to the overall charm. It’s equipped with all the comforts and amenities you could need for a relaxing stay. The chef and caretaker were exceptional — both were attentive, friendly, and ensured that all our needs were met. the host, was very responsive and provided clear answers to all of our questions. This place was just amazing, best part of our Sri Lankan road trip! It’s situated high up in the mountains with beautiful views and no people around. It’s so peaceful. I wish we could stay for weeks. The cottage is so comfy and well equipped. Erik, the owner, is great. He speaks really good English, always replies right away and organises anything you need. We had an old car and had hard times driving in the mountains so he organised parking spot for as and tuk to take us to the cottage. He also organised great guides to take us to Knuckles five peak trek. There is a dog Rocky who is super cute and friendly, making sure you’re safe during your stay. I highly recommend to order rice and curry too, it was so delicious!
