The house is neighboured and sitting on and surrounded by an organic farm, run by the smartest and kindest and most committed farmer and owner of the house you could think of. You will find a fresh bread on the table, butter in the shelf and milk at the fridge when you arrive and a heartfelt handshake by Eowin or one of his volunteers from „World of organic farming“ (WoOFers), living on the farm and helpful whenever needed. As the house was built by his grandparents, everything is decorated and equipped like they would still live there - but with a modern washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, freezer and fridge - all of that exceptionally high end Siemens machines or equivalent. A kitchen you can bake, cook, prepare small breakfast or prepare for big dinner parties and never run out of equipment.

The location was perfect for my trip. The house had everything I needed and was a great place for my dog. The hosts had the heating on for my arrival which made it very welcoming and cosy. The area offered nice walks and was pet friendly which is great to find. Myself and my dog loved our stay here and would highly recommend the place.

The views alone were beautiful, then you step inside and the cottage was so lovely and absolutely spotless, there was a fantastic outside space to hang out, my kids and myself had a great time and want to go back for a longer stay and Sinead was so friendly and so helpful with directions and advice on where to eat and how to get to the shops. I couldn't recommend it more and will be returning.

Everything. Angela greeted us with such a lovely warm welcome along with her two lovely and very well-behaved furby's. The location was ideal as we attended a wedding in the Crover House Hotel, which was just a 13 min drive, so perfect place to stay. The room was stunning, had everything you needed, a beautiful big and comfortable bed. The bathroom was beautiful with a lovely shower and a separate bath. The breakfast was delicious 😋, and Angela's husband prepared and serviced a beautiful, full Irish breakfast with a lot of delicious local produce. There were lots of cereal options and fresh fruit too. Would highly recommend Nellie's Cottage for your stay. Thank you both very much for a lovely stay.

The cottage was so cozy and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and the kitchen was well equipped. Olive was super lovely and made sure we had everything we needed.
