This is an exceptional property. Private and quiet with every little detail thought of. It is such a special place and if you want a taste of Ireland and a place to rest and take in the countryside it is perfect. A beautiful brook running through the woods, chickens, ducks and an apple orchard. It is idyllic. We couldn’t believe our luck to spend a night somewhere so beautiful.

Gorgeous location, our lodge was just fabulous, great bed, shower, view and loads of wee extras that just made the place and stay so wonderful… the scent in the room, homemade scones, fresh milk, robes, toiletries, was all just fantastic.

Majella and Pat were so welcoming, and the house was absolutely perfect, so comfortable and warm and such lovely added details, like some homemade brown bread and porridge oats, milk, butter and jam in the fridge. We loved meeting the lovely dogs Millie and Bella! I would highly recommend this cottage to stay in for a peaceful break from the city, with really kind and welcoming hosts.

The house and it's location is beautiful. The area is so peaceful and the house has everything you need to relax with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. Elodie was lovely and communication was quick and easy. I had a fantastic stay at the accommodation and I would highly recommend.

Self catering delighted with food provided, location was lovely as house was very quiet and views were lovely. We loved the comfortable beds and pillows had a brilliant night sleep, the bedroom downstairs was ideal for my disabled mother. The shop in Kilgarvan catered for our needs and we enjoyed walking around Kenmare which is in close proximity.

Everything! This is a beautiful and comfortable home away from home. Well equipped, spacious, warm, clean, with lots of attention to detail. David was extremely helpful and thoughtful, as well as interesting and charming, and very ready to act on any small problem, such as the coffee machine not working.     We had an amazing stay here on the weekend, the cottage is perfect and Noreen taught of every little detail🫶🏽 we taught it might be noisy here due to the fact it’s on a main road but it wasn’t at all! Would recommend to anyone 😊

    This is a lovely cosy cottage in Kealkill kitted out with everything you would need for a family break. The host Noreen was wonderful in communicating with us and went the extra mile in stocking the kitchen with fresh milk and eggs etc. - so kind! The cottage was immaculate and an ideal base to visit relatives in the local area. My 70 year old mum and 1 year old toddler loved it too. Thank you for a lovely stay.
