Beautiful clean spacious room, very close to all amenities, including the airport and the beach, with helpful staff. There was aircon and a fan, nice heavy curtains to shut out street light and double windows to keep noise to a minimum. I will return when I next do an airport run, loved it, and slept well!

I liked the music in the beach club, nice personnel and amazing food at the bar. The rooms are spacious with the terrace, there is also netflix on the TV. The bathrooms also big, there are shower creams and shampoos also. The fireshows were cool.

Everything! Amazing staff, nice and clean, the bar and other extras they offer are not so expensive, like it is usually in hotels.. Very good buffet breakfast, even for vegans, they can prepare you different kinds of tofu from the menu if you don’t eat dairy, meat and eggs. We felt very welcomed.

Beautiful place! We loved our time here. Great location. Allows you to explore the island. The hotel is helpful in renting a scooter. We loved the pool. The beach here is good but not for swimming as there is little water here.

    Stayed on the beach and didn't venture in to the town of...

    Stayed on the beach and didn't venture in to the town of Chaweng, or the high street, didn't need to. A mix of resorts and hotels on the beach, from 5* to 3*, all offering great locations, food and friendly service. Some were child friendly, and very shallow waters safe for kids or non swimmers. Some hotels were adults only. It's been 10 years since I last visited and it's better than I remembered.

    Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday The Jungle Tour is definitely worth doing & don't be afraid to barter the price Lots of eateries with great selection of food to choose from Fishermans Market is very pretty at night & there are bargains to be had If you hire a car or scooter - by careful if you like to dabble in the Green because the Police will pull you over & you will get a hefty fine - not worth it - grab a taxi or the local rides (which are cheap)

    I think I would prefer to go a bit further to Lamai beach.

    I think I would prefer to go a bit further to Lamai beach. 10km away. The private taxi from the airport cost 400baht to go the 2 km. Walk past the desk and locate a normal taxi. I found that the normal price for a taxi is 500baht for 10km or 600baht for 15km.

    Chaweng has something for everyone. we were 2 50+ adults...

    Chaweng has something for everyone. we were 2 50+ adults with our 28 year old son and girlfriend. They enjoyed the nightlife on the strip with some friends and we enjoyed some lovely lunches and and beach days in a nice resort whilst they recovered from the nights excesses. You can arrange excursions to other islands easily. I would caution against staying up the big hills as it puts the taxi drivers off.

    If your expectations are cottage chic, you’re going to be...

    If your expectations are cottage chic, you’re going to be happy. If it’s hotel with amenities, your reaction will be a bit surprised. I wish they provided more than just a bar of soap and one towel each. No bathmat, no hand towels, no shampoo. Air conditioning was excellent. The rooms were clean but the bathroom window didn’t close so there were spiders, but we were in a jungly atmosphere so I didn’t mind. The restaurant prices were high so we didn’t eat there. Tons of restaurants, 7-Elevens and the Chaweng night market nearby.

    Very convenient to be central with everything near by.

    Very convenient to be central with everything near by. Highly recommend Chaweng beach location. Great location to watch planes arriving and departing over the beach at low altitude. Great photo opportunity for those interested.

    It was very convenient getting around in Chaweng area. I have stayed in different area in Koh Samui and this place is the most convenient place to go to town, grocery shopping and beach. Lovely place with all the necessary appliances. They have different services like cleaning, taxi and even chef service if you want to have a lovely private dinner. Love the peace and quiet. Quite comfortable. Thanks for everything.

    The staff are a credit, everyone we came across were so friendly and nothing was ever too much of an ask. The resort is on the best part of the beach and although you are in the middle of the madness of Chaweng you would never know once in the resort. The food and facilities were also very good. I would 100% recommend this hotel!
