Outstanding location. My lovely room had a little balcony with a view of the arch. The room was spotless and spacious and the cleaners did a great job daily. The fridge and desk were appreciated. Wonderful, friendly staff. The value for money was exceptional. Location was brilliant for morning running - hotel to the Belem Tower along the water and back is c. 15km; perfect!

The hotel is beautifully appointed and the rooms are very comfortable, the decor is very modern. The design of the room and all the fittings are thoughtful and convenient. We found the beds comfortable, more than adequate storage space and sufficient electric outlets. The outlets by the bedside are plentiful and neatly covered by a flip top. Everything was clean and the quality of the towels, robe, slippers and the bathroom products was excellent. The staff was attentive, respectful, helpful and thoughtful. The breakfast was delicious and had several healthy options. We were not able to use the spa, pool or gym due to our plans - but they all looked like great options. The hotel was conveniently located from public transportation options and from some wonderful restaurants. The on site restaurant was also very good. They set a high bar, and the hotels we visited in other cities in Portugal have not been able to match up.

A total gem in central Lisbon. We had a suite on the third floor, it must have been newly decorated - so clean and fresh. Huge bathroom with a tub, the bed was soft and the view was great. Modern room. Breakfast really nice - everything you need in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, Staff was welcoming and helpful. We recommend, and will be staying here for our Lisbon adventures in the future!

Hotel waa really beautiful and clean. Location was okay. The receptionist staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff weren’t really friendly, especially the guy with glasses who was giving a dead stare almost all the time. overall it was a good choice and didn’t regret that we returned for the second time.

    Lisbon has a lot to offer, but it's a big city.

    Lisbon has a lot to offer, but it's a big city. I liked Porto a lot better because of size and ability to get around to a lot of places on foot. But don't get me wrong. Lisbon is lovely; size is a personal preference! I saw a lot of the sights last year during a tour, so I had some specific things I wanted to do, and did.

    This is not a city for easy walking.

    This is not a city for easy walking. You need to be young and/or fit to get round on foot. We used a lot of Ubers which we found cheaper than taxis or the tourist tuk tuk Some of the areas we visited seemed grubby. We wish we had stayed close to the river. We only had one night in the city and we ate at Darwins cafe which is near Belem tower. It was a very good meal.

    We took an electric bike ride covering the 7 Hills of Lisbon...

    We took an electric bike ride covering the 7 Hills of Lisbon and was excellent, highly recommend it. Also the traditional boat trip also lovely in an evening from Commercio, great time on that. We bought a 3 days Lisboa Card and is worthwhile and saves time and good for visits, but check it covers where you want to visit. We went to the Pilar 7 Bridge Experience and can very definitely say was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, vvvv disappointing, there is no lift and huge amount of steps. They don’t say on the website as I could see, it’s a v long way up to reach the top look out, the lift has been broken for at least a year or so we were told, not v reassuring. But we did it, scary as very few staff and their moral seemed v low, it was dirty and things were broken on the way, the view was poor and through a filthy window. So many far better views in lovely Lisbon. Please don’t bother, give it a miss, barely a soul there for what could be such a great experience. We went up because it was on the Lisboa card but do not pay unless it all gets fixed.

    Our stay at Brown’s Central was wonderful. Couldn’t have found a better spot. We walked pretty much everywhere, using Bolt only a few times. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, great water pressure and comfy bed.

    The staff were amazing, Tiago, the pantry lady, ( from the kitchen) Helder , Oscar and front office are wonderful ! Climbing uphill was challenging.The location is great. Major brands near enough. Meeting point for most tours were accessible.

    Lisbon is a great place to visit. Lots to see. I'd recommend a whole week. Make sure to factor a visit to Sintra & Pena Palace. I love the pastel de nata - so yummy! Lots of other treats too try out too. I'd definitely come again when I can.

    I arrived at the hotel three hours late after being stuck in the immigration queue at Europe's worst airport, Lisbon. At nearly 1am, the staff were amazing, and a very welcome sight. The room was really nice, breakfast was available from 4am, which was important as I wanted to get back to the airport at least 4 hours early. Location was perfect. Less than 5 minutes walk to Terminal 1. One of my best hotel experiences for quite some time.

    Everything! The kindness of all staff was superb, the hotel was the best so far in my life based on value-price. It's not a luxury hotel, plain and simple, but based on the equipments and the kindness and comfortability it feels like a 4-5 stars hotel.
