    We stayed three nights and that was enough for us. Beaches need more atmosphere, loungers, restaurants, shade etc. Also realised you need to hire a car cause America town and closes beaches got boring after three days.

    The places I needed and wanted to go to were all within -20...

    The places I needed and wanted to go to were all within -20 minutes from each other. The area is nice and walkable, some family marts and Lawsons on the way if you need to stop for a quick snack or need to pick something last minute. Many places to eat just put what you like on the gps and go. Be wary that not of the places will have parking available.

    Relaxed calm atmosphere, contrary to adjacent American village. Lots of small local places with great food and bars. Great for surfers and divers and people who simply enjoy quiet vacation by the beach.

    I expected a beach area with a south pacific vibe.

    I expected a beach area with a south pacific vibe. Instead it was a theme park. We couldnt use the beach that the hotel overlooked because it was closed and had to walk 2 beaches over. Very disappointed.

    Chatan is an ideal location for people visiting family...

    Chatan is an ideal location for people visiting family members in the military. It's very close to most of the bases, and has a wide selection of hotels. There is public transportation, but It's very walkable (in most areas). We felt very safe walking around. The America Village there has lots of shops, restaurants and bars. There were three or four beaches that we saw.

    Location is quite far from the airport.

    Location is quite far from the airport. However the sunset is exceptional and the restaurants are on the beach so you can get an excellent view. American village sort of reminds me of a cross between Disney and Vegas.

    Great place if you want to be near America Street as its very close to the the US BASE. Aircraft from base were rather noisy. If you are from Europe you need a permit to drive, and to rent a car. Taxis are expensive. Buses run from and to the airport. Traffic is heavy. Local Buses run, roughly once an hour but not after 7 pm, and not very often and may run late. Whale watching is a must as is scuba and snorkelling. Sun is intense so wear sunscreen. Local aquarium north of the Island is worth a trip. Okinawa is a pleasant vacation.

    Excellent location with nearby American Village many option of shops and restaurants. Room is clean and many amenities self collect as you like from the hotel lobby. Front desk staff were exceptionally helpful as we had a situation of flight cancellation on the day of our departure and they helped us connect by phone to the airline and managed the extension of 1 day stayed at the hotel. All events were smooth and set us at ease. Thank you!

    Location is really close to the beach. From the room the ocean view was impeccable. Can watch the sunset from the comfort of the room. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Able to loan free beach towels every morning to facilitate visits to the beach. There is a foot wash corner at the hotel so you can wash off the sand after getting back. Rooms are generally clean.

    A kids friendly hotel located at the super convenient spot with many restaurants, shops and coffee shops nearby. The swimming pool is clean, perfect for kids. They also prepared kids amenities in the room which is so caring. A definite yes if we want to stay again
