Divine. The loc was fabulous and will always recommend this location to people. The mountain, the hills, the smell, the city had nice restaurants, and the dinner was delicious and pretty places to take pictures. Train from Sorrento to Naples to Amalfi Coast was astonishing. We enjoyed staying in Sant'Agnello - it's quieter and less touristy than nearby Sorrento, but within a 20 minute walk to Sorrento if you want more shops, bars and restaurants. The Sant'Agnello harbour is beautiful with stunning views of Vesuvius. You can walk up into Sant'Agnello town in 10 mins, where many Italians live. Sant'Agnello is right next to Sorrento.
Sant'Agnello is right next to Sorrento. We went to a nice restaurant in town and found the Supero' grocery store to be very large and with a complete offering of food. We did not mind the walk to Sorrento (you could also take the train one more stop). There is a small beach in town as well. It is easy from Sant Agnello to get to lots of great places. We visited Vesuvius and Pompeii (by train). Also went to a Lemon garden in Sorrento to see how they managed the orchard and products. Great!! Best excursion was definaitely the Path of the gods - it leaves from Sorrento and is an AMAZING walk along the cliffs above Poitano. Go with a group Tempio Travel - 10 stars!! Must do! We also hired a boat and went expoloring for a day. Its busy down near Capri but if you avaoid the "Boat Highway" you will can a great day lazing around on a boat. good location to explore the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Naples and other spots. The little town itself is not really attractive to me. Only a few restaurants, bar and shopping possibilities. The hotel is well positioned away from the noise at Sorrento square but close to the train which takes 2 minutes to Sorrento. The room is nice and well equipped but a bit small. Breakfast is really good with a larger than normal spread in comparison to other hotels in most of Italy.
