What an incredible place! We loved the views, the tranquility. Everything was spotless. The best thing though was the staff and customer service. Yurgen in the Bistrot gave us some very special meals and Claudia at the front desk provided excellent advice and recommendations

We really liked the location of the accommodation – quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to the highway and the sea. The hostess was extremely helpful and always willing to assist us. She came every day to clean and prepared breakfast for us. We truly enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend this place.

Lovely family run hotel with historical significance, commissioned by Cosimo I of Medici who was the Grand Duke of Tuscany, and part of a Renaissance fortified town. The hotel was in a valley surrounded by the beautiful hills of Romagna. The lady owner was very friendly and she and her son chatted with us on the terrace. She also gave us a lot of information about the castle's history. The breakfast was great, we could see she has made huge effort to prepare the amazing breakfast.

We are returning guests and were again not disappointed, will come back again in late August. The host is simply outstanding, very friendly and helpful - and a great cook who values local produce and gave us a great start into the morning. My wife is allergic to wheat so she got a special breakfast which looked even tastier than mine... ;-)

    We did not schedule enough time in Predappio.

    We did not schedule enough time in Predappio. We went on a historical visit to see the birthplace and tomb of Benito Mussolini. We did not know that there is SO MUCH MORE to see! There is a beautiful national park, vineyards, great wine, and our hotel restaurant served all locally sourced food. You probably need a solid day to see everything. Predappio is a bit off the beaten path. However, if you are traveling towards Venice or the Dolemite Mountains, it is worth the side trip to make a stop.
