    We have been visiting Pietrasanta for 20 years and always look forward to our stay. One of the attractions is that it is a working town with historical connections to marble production. Very popular destination for artists

    Although it's a relatively small town there is much to see...

    Although it's a relatively small town there is much to see by way of the art and sculpture, some permanent and some temporary. It's a lovely place with a number of really good restaurants. The Centro Storico with the Cathedral in the main square is most attractive. It is also an excellent base for visiting other notable places including Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Cinque Terra, all of which can be reached by train.

    We had a wonderful three days in Pietrasanta.

    We had a wonderful three days in Pietrasanta. We stayed at L'Arcadia in a beautiful setting with wonderful hosts. We ate at the restaurant beside the B&B and the meal and service were excellent. We found it easy to get around the town, and our host provided us information about free parking as well. It's a wonderful, artistic town with a central piazza. As well, we had a tour of the Carrera marble mines that was also set up by our host. I would be very happy to visit this area again.

    Pietrasanta is a very nice little town at the center of the Versilia. The town is very international with foreign languages spoken all around you. Pietrasanta is easy to explore by foot and provides a wide variety of Italian cuisine.

    A beautiful hideaway in Pietrasanta, easy walking distance to town and to the train station. Aurora and Patrizia went out of their way to ensure that we had a fantastic stay, and the accommodation has lots of little details which were subtle but very much appreciated. Because there is only a total of 4 rooms, it was generally a very peaceful stay, and we often had the pool to ourselves. Breakfast was served with a lot of care and attention, and Silvia ensured that the rooms were spotless every day.
