We (2 adults + 1 teen) have stayed at this lovely home which is really cared for and equipped with everything you could have imagined and far beyond. House consists of 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Bathroom amenity is better than the hotel which is local Tuscan produce with beautiful aroma scent. Thanks to the owner’s kind gesture and consideration, house was already heated with comfortable temperature when we have checked in at night. We also found a surprise breakfast item, sweets breakfast, drinks yogurt, eggs much and more on the dining table. This was very useful. We originally thought of grabbing the breakfast on the way after the check out. Instead, we could have a breakfast at the comfort of the house before checking out. Also, communication was great too. Owner speaks English is great plus in Italy for non Italian speaker. Since it was winter and we just stayed for 1 night just to sleep over, unfortunately I could not use outdoor facility. It would have been nice to chill out in the outdoor area with BBQ during the summer months with scent of Lavender around you overlooking the Tuscan countryside to relax our mind from the daily hectic life. If you are looking for the place to stay, this is such a rare to find with full of comfort and lovely owner family with heart of Gold – not to be missed. You will never regret it. I highly recommend this place to anyone. In fact, I cannot recommend enough and cannot describe how great it is. One must experience it to know and appreciate this gem. Thank you so much for the unforgettable stay. It was a truly magical experience.

We came in around 9pm, which was not a problem. Nicole greeted us with a smile. Lovely little room with a view of the fields. Breakfast was really nice. Since we were in off season, they were renovating the kitchen, but we managed to eat here on our last night and it was the best food we've had in Tuscany. All from their own farm and homecooked. Francesca specialises in cooking game so we had a hare pasta which was fabulous. I wish I could live here just for the cooking! They had so many good tips on where to go in the area. We ended up going to Casanova della Spinetta for a wine tour, and it was the best we had in the area. All in all, very comfortable stay. They have some cute animals too!

The panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside were incredible. We also love the expansive grounds which includes rest areas, children’s play, stables and viewpoints. The staff were also very polite and helpful, including when our car had a puncture. Special shout-out to Fernando and Lorenzo for helping us out in that regard.

    Beautiful small hilltop village (cca 200-300 people) Make sure you have a walk of the streets in the center. There is a small shop, a pub and even a bank office but for larger shopping you have to drive 10-15km (Lajattico, or La Rosa) . Lajatico and Peccioli are nice nearby towns with nice cultural events and open-air exhibitions during summer. (Cca 30 min dri ing) Volterra etruscian city is well worth a visit or the Cecine Aqua village with its 10 slides. (1hr driving) Lucca, Florance, Pisa, San Gimignano are also reachablle in 1-1.5 hrs, but be prepared for 20-30% longer drives than navigation software suggests (the roads are narrow and curvy and you can stuck behind a slower vehicle for 10-15 minutes)
