We absolutely loved Cefalu, we could have stayed longer. Our host Deborah was there to greet us, made us feel very comfortable and showed us how everything worked, the apartment was fantastic, very clean, we loved being opposite the beach. On the morning of our checkout it was predicted to rain so Deborah took us to the railway station. We would highly recommend a stay here. Cefalu is beautiful, its a lovely place to relax and there is lots to do in and around the area, particularly if you like the water. We travelled to etna and taormina as well. Its a fairly easy drive and the coastal road views are gorgeous.Guest review byGregory - 8.0

Cefalu is a beautiful place with a beautiful accessible coastline. The most amazing sunsets ever while sipping a glass of wine overlooking the sea. There is a large central Supermarket and of course many coffee and gelato spots. Lots of restaurants and the tiny narrow streets you generally only see pictures! My only regret on the last day was that I didn't use Google Translator to communicate in the Restaurants, which was quite difficult if you aren't ordering exactly from the menu. As we were attending a family wedding, we didn't get to do many other activities as we had a schedule of our own. Idyllic!Guest review byCaitrionaIreland - 10.0
The Old Town was great.
The Old Town was great. Loved walking around the little streets, going to the Cathedral and the nearby Mandralisca Museum. Had gelato every day. The marzipan fruits looked beautiful and tasted great. While there were quite a few tourists there, it didn't feel overcrowded. Down the main street but a bit out of the Old Town (but still within walking distance) were a children's clothing shop and an adult and childrenswear shop that had T shirts that were a reasonable price to take home to family - not like the expensive souvenir ones. The view from the studio we stayed in was amazing and made up for the dated furnishings. The studio was clean and towels changed daily. The pool area was spacious and there were sufficient sun beds available. The restaurant also has spectacular views. We had dinner one night and the food was lovely. The hotel provided it at a cost that was not unreasonable. The hotel had a swimming pool which was closed (out of season) but when open would be very nice.
