Second stay within a month and I can’t recommend this property enough! Spacious, clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly hosts and a very good breakfast, all at a very reasonable price. Very good value for money! The location is a 20 minute walk from the center of Carrick-on-Shannon, perfect for exploring the beautiful Leitrim countryside. Highly recommended!

    Beautiful setting, excellent facilities and great ambiance. Stayed with my parents and had a very relaxing time. Beds were very comfortable and the en suite facilities were great. Would to bring my grand kids and dog next time. Would definitely stay again.

    A town with great character. Lovely, lively town. Beautiful marina. Great pubs, great food. Very historical town & beautiful little villages with lovely walks only a few miles outside of Carrick. The famous gun powder gin is distilled a few miles from Carrick in Drumshanbo. Flynns pub was great craic & great music. Likewise McHughs pub & Cryans pub were great also. Cryans hotel bar food was excellent. We had the peppered chicken with vegetables & chips & they brought out a potatoe, ham & leek dish on the house. It was fab. Really enjoyed our stay. Well worth a visit!

    I had never been to Leitrim but I'm so glad I finally...

    I had never been to Leitrim but I'm so glad I finally visited. It is a hidden and underrated gem. Carrick on Shannon is a gorgeous town. I love the boat tours on the RiverShannon, the boardwalk with the biodiversity garden. I love the streets with the nice cafes and bars and restaurants. There are two lovely book shops. I love the smallest church in Ireland on the corner of Main Street. The clock tower is a lovely landmark. I love the Leitrim Design Centre. The buildings are lovely. I felt safe I'm this town. There is a lovely community spirit. The local community has done brilliant work. The town is clean with no litter and the people are so friendly.

    Carrick on Shannon is not only one of County Leitrim's...

    Carrick on Shannon is not only one of County Leitrim's greatest pride, but one of Ireland's greatest spots. Carrick on Shannon was a town I always admired as a boy growing up in County Leitrim. While many towns have fallen on hard times, Carrick on Shannon continues to maintain its beauty and continue to be a busy town. Carrick on Shannon has also many attractions in the surrounding area and is in a central location.

    Carrick is a wonderful town, with a vibrant feel to it. Great bars, with music in the evenings, wonderful coffee shops and restaurants. Lots to see and do in and around the area and a fantastic local market on a Thursday and craft market once a month.

    There's a great cake shop near the Old Courthouse.

    There's a great cake shop near the Old Courthouse. Sadly, we didn't have time for boat rides or fishing but did have a lovely walk round Lough Key, with possibilities for family cycling, adventure playground, boating etc.

    The location was perfect for accessing Carrick on Shannon town centre, 5 mins by car. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was an excellent selection with hot food cooked to order. Kate, our host was most hospitable and generous with her time. Nothing was too much trouble.

    Ive stayed before and its a reliable and cost effective way to stay in Carrick on Shannon. Not sure I would want to be staying on a weekend as the stag and hen parties use it - but through the week its quiet and very welcoming.
