The hotel is comfortable and homey. The location is a 10 minute drive outside of town, but a lovely quiet area. The view was spectacular. Our room was a good size, nice decor, very comfortable bed. The bathroom was roomy, clean and had a luxurious feel. The dining room, where we had breakfast, was spacious and nicely decorated. The food choices were varied and everything was delicious.

As the Americans say, “what’s not to like?”. I was fortunate enough to stay in The Forte Suite, with floor space larger than my little cottage near Sydney! Sooo comfortable. Loved the ambience, the food, that setting. A special shout-out to our waiter at lunch and dinner, Ricardo, and the restaurant manager ( sadly I don’t know her name) consummate professionals both. Coming from Australia, where pet-friendly places are slowly appearing, what a joy for me to see them welcomed on the terrace and some rooms. My friend and dog stayed in the Garden Room. Wonderful decor and immense outdoor space. If you are planning a visit, don’t hesitate. You will not be disappointed. Thank you, Tresanton.

The Staff was amazing, so friendly, serviceminded and extremly social, I felt they really were interested in our stay and our plans for activities. With my briken leg, they arranged a private parking in front of the entrance and one of the scarse rooms with no stairs to climb. The seaview ovelooking the beach was fantastic, a place to enjoy the nice breakfast or drinks at the bar.

The friendly staff. Especially Blade who was so nice and accomodating to our whole family, making everything work down to the smallest detail. The location is excellent for stopping over after visiting the Hall for Cornwall. We had the continental breakfast, at no extra cost. This comprised of a selection of teas, coffee, fruit (melon, prunes, various other fruits), toast, pastries, cereals and possibly more. The room was spacious, including a massive, comfortable bed. We made use of the fan as it was hot outside. A selection of tea and coffee in the room, but no complimentary biscuits. The shower was over the bath. Immaculately clean and tidy. All staff were really polite and friendly.
