Very lovely and cozy, nice staff, good breakfast and well insulated rooms (especially as they are above a bar). The shower was powerful and hot in the best way! Loved the window seat and the cute skew window that gave the room that old-timey feel.

    Arrival Experience:

Arrival Experience: Upon entering through the bar area, I politely inquired about the reception location. The staff member responded dismissively, asking “Well, do you know which one? Where are you supposed to be?” This interaction felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. Check-in Process: At reception, we encountered further challenges. The staff member did not acknowledge us with a greeting or make eye contact, simply stating “There’s an issue with your reservation” without offering assistance or solutions. Dining Experience: While the room itself was pleasant, our dinner reservation experience was problematic. When we approached the restaurant desk, staff walked away to serve tea without acknowledging us, leaving us waiting for five minutes. After being seated, we waited an additional ten minutes before being asked for our drink order. When I requested a vodka with olives, I was informed five minutes later that cocktails were not available—information that could have been communicated initially. Ultimately, we decided to dine at the Sheep Restaurant instead, where we received the warm, professional service we had hoped to experience at your establishment.

Lower Slaughter is such a lovely place.

Lower Slaughter is such a lovely place. Very picturesque and quiet. Nice place to relax. If you want shopping, you've got Broadway or Stow on the Wold, very nearby. We on spent weekend. But maybe next time we'll bring our dog. That will then be our third time in L Slaughter!

Stunning house and property. I liked the private car park to park. The room was spacious with old world charm, Lower Slaughter is a mostly residential, sleepy town in the Cotswolds, so it’s a bit more quiet. Bourton on the Water is right nearby for shops and dining. The breakfast was included and was quite good. The restaurant staff were very nice. I can’t wait to come again in the warmer months to sit outside.

The place is idyllic. The manor itself is beautiful, and the surroundings incredibly special. The town where the manor is located is very picturesque, charming, a very good example of the beauty of the Cotswolds. The location is fantastic to drive around and enjoy the beauty of this part of England's countryside.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was really accommodating with our dog too, they had a dog bed, treats and water bowl all ready for us. The restaurant staff were great too, very knowledgeable on the dishes and providers at both dinner and breakfast.
