This is a beautiful hotel on the waterfront with amazingly friendly and welcoming hosts. Our room was sparkly clean and huge! It was a very comfortable space for us. We had the breakfast- fabulous! Great storage for our bicycles, too. Highly recommend this property!

Fantastic property. Ultra modern but in an old building. Very stylish with many little touches that added to the ambience. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. In the heart of the old town; 2 minute walk to the port and many bars and restaurants. One of the best apartments we’ve stayed, anywhere!

    Bakio is a terrific beach and surfing resort, but we didn't go for either of those. We went because it's close to Gaztelugatxe and there are some very good restaurants nearby. And a txakoli museum! Check it out!

    Finally a real authentic family business. The hotel was stylish and comfortable. The family owners were extremely friendly and even though we didn’t pay for breakfast they saved us some sweet treats. If you can, get a room with sea view. I recommend staying in this amazing little hotel for easy access to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe & surfing. Wonderful to wake up and take a walk on the beach right outside the front door.

    The host and her daughter were welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the kitchen and the fact that we could prepare snacks from our own food and eat on the terrace, enjoying the company of other guests. The txakolina wine available at Bosarte from the surrounding vineyard was excellent. Bosarte is a short walk to the sea and Bakio. We enjoyed beautiful walks in the region - to the hermitage - as well as walking to dinner.

    The hotel is truly pet friendly, with no extra charge for bringing our dog, which made us feel very comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was excellent, and everything was sparkling clean. There was plenty of parking available, and we also appreciated having a bar on-site as an option. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

    Really good location although there is a steep hill leading to Bisalde from Bakio. Very quiet. Great view of the sea from the balcony. Host very nice and did her best to ensure our stay was good.
