The apartment was spacious and had a terrific view from the balcony. Free parking was close by and checking in was a breeze. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and the refrigerator was good sized. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for 5 adult guests. Kandersteg is a really lovely valley and town - not as touristy as other places but really beautiful and charming. Easy travels whether on foot or from train and bus stops. Plenty of places to stop for coffee or buy a snack. Sunnbüel, Oeschinensee and Blausee are a must see. Such a cute little town to spend a couple of days in! I wish I had stayed more than a night, but at this time of year I'm not sure there would have been that much more to do if I were staying a week or something. We stayed for 2 nights and were very comfortable in the apartment. Location is excellent too, just a short 10-15 min walk to the Kandersteg cable car station. There are coop and other small supermarkets nearby, all within walking distance. Garage was provided too. Host was helpful and responded quickly to our questions. Really enjoyed our stay here.
