- All necessary amenities are provided, and the free Wi-Fi signal is quite good (considering the conditions in the wild, it's very good, but the main focus of staying here is to enjoy nature :D)
- The location is very convenient, as it's close to the visitor center.
- staff are friendly and welcoming
- very clean and tidy
- The food at the restaurant is delicious
-Free parking is available outside the chalet
If I travel here again in the future, I will definitely stay here again and stay for two nights to fully enjoy such a beautiful place.

The timing of our trip and very little crowd was the best part. Having pretty much Dove lake to ourselves was amazing. The weather was a bit so so but it’s was all prt of the experience. It’s an amazing, beautiful place. A must is to do the dove lake circuit and the Roony Creek to Dove lake. Walks are fairly easy and 80% on boardwalks. Marion’s lookout is a definite for next trip. It is a special place but visitors need to know that there are no additional facilities there. Ensure you have a full tank of petrol and purchase some goodies to take with you because once you are there you are a "trapped" audience. One of the best World Heritage Sites there is! Stunning days no matter the weather! Be prepared if you are going to do any of the longer walks and follow the directions of the maps and staff. Cradle mountain a place must visit when you are coming to Tasmania. Pleasantly surprised. Beautiful location, stunning rooms and a good restaurant. Would like to see the restaurant open for breakfast. The buildings were very appropriate for the location. Only abt 5 mins walk from the hotel to cradle mountain visitor centre. The Lodge is very close to nature and sometimes u can see small animals ard the lodge. The staff is very helpful. Our car was stuck on the slope up the hotel due to ice on the slope. Their restaurant manager, Edward came and helped us parked the car at the lower carpark.
