The road to there is bumby, meaning that it’s literally in the middle of nowhere/nature. I personally loved that. We drove there by pick up and already the way up there felt like an adventure itself. Once arrived, we saw the magical lights everywhere. The owners really wanna make it a special place, welcome you warmly, have the best food I’ve had in Nicaragua. Whatever you order, it’s amazing. The rooms were super comfortable, big, beautifully decorated and I slept like a baby. The whole area is family-/kid-friendly, nice to calm down, relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. Absolutely perfect.

Breakfast was made fresh every day and was delicious, super friendly and helpful staff, awesome views, & comfy bed. Tim and his family were so lovely and made my stay super comfortable, providing tips for outings, contacts for rentals, and great recommendations overall. My first week stay I was traveling alone and always felt safe and secure.

We stayed here for a few days and had a wonderful time! The garden, pool, and cabins are beautiful, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. We also really appreciated the included breakfast option—it was a great way to start each day. The beach is within walking distance, which was very convenient. However, there are only a few restaurants nearby; most are located a bit farther away. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we would recommend it for a peaceful getaway!

It felt peaceful and private, yet also safe! We loved the butterflies in front of our cabin and we liked all the greenery. The kitchen was perfect and I loved having two lounge areas (eating and sitting). Staff was very friendly!

Wild Waves Surf-House poskytuje zahradu, soukromou pláž a sdílenou kuchyň. Pláž Popoyo je několik kroků odtud. Location was fantastic, right in amongst lots of restaurants and sunset spots (bus bar in front is awesome!), and walkable to main surf spots - 10min to Popoyo main, 20min to beginner bay, and if it’s smaller the beach out front was fun to surf too. The host is super in-the-know with surfing so had heaps of good tips. Room was amazing, big and comfortable, with air-con (such a lifesaver!), and cleaned daily. The chap who works there was so helpful and constantly cleaning - so the place is spotless! Shared kitchen is well equipped, delicious coffee each day, and refillable filtered water (for a small price). Would love to return!

Ecolodge Blue Morpho se nachází v destinaci Cárdenas a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu, terasu a výhled na hory. We liked it has a great location near the CR-NIC border in front of Cocibolca Lake, easy to find. The owner's warm welcome made us feel great and at home. It is an eco-lodge, powered by the sun and wind, so A/C is not available, but the fresh air by the night almost does it.

The accommodation was spot-on—clean and wonderfully comfortable. Its peaceful location offered a perfect retreat, and the stunning views were absolutely breathtaking. The staff were super friendly and quick to assist with any questions. The dinner was delicious, with a great variety to choose from. I felt completely at ease and truly enjoyed my time here. I’ll definitely return! Thank you for a memorable experience!

La Bambouseraie se nachází v destinaci Balgue a má restauraci, sdílenou kuchyň, bar, zahradu, terasu a výhled do zahrady. The location is incredible! You’re in the jungle with so much wildlife around you! The cabins were so cool high up and they had everything you need. Elias, one of the staff was amazing and always chatted to us about our days, what we got up to and any recommendations he had. We hired an atv which they handled for us, everything was just taken care of, could t recommend staying here more! It’s on the side of the island too that everything isn’t too far if you got transport (you need to hire something, a bike, scooter or atv). Also Loki and Lola the German Shepard’s are amazing and super friendly , also the property has pigs and who doesn’t love pigs!

Amazing place. The cabins are very cute. There are only 3 cabins which makes it very special. Dont expect anything busy as it’s a very couple place. Most of butterflies around.
