They took the time to share their knowledge of the island and genuinely enjoyed exchanging stories about life and travel. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. The veranda was just as stunning as the photos promised (if not more!), but the real star was the garden. Bursting with vibrant flowers, fragrant herbs, and even fruit trees, it felt like wandering through a hidden Eden. And at night? Pure magic. The sky was a glittering canvas of stars, with shooting stars streaking across every few minutes (yes, we counted—along with a few satellites for fun!). Please have breakfast on the veranda! The hosts prepare everything fresh—local bread, jams, yogurt, and more—making it the perfect way to start the day in paradise. If you're looking for a peaceful escape from city life, Xerolithos is the place. One night we spend the complete night on the rooftop bed, which is such an experience, watching the stars and we were lucky to see even some falling stars! The view is as amazing as you can see on the photos, probably even better! The service is really top notch! You can ask everything via WhatsApp and within minutes you have a response, like asking for a taxi or for some food delivering. The staff is super friendly and always on your side, but at the same time you have all the privacy you want at the lodge. We really miss it already and would like to comeback so badly soon!
