The castle was three different stories. The entrance is through a big boulder with beautiful wrought iron. You walk up the stairs to the first bedroom, which feels as if it is in a cave but is still very airy and has a window. Then you continue to walk up, and it's a great big living area with comfortable couches, a big fireplace, a dining room, and a good-sized kitchen with a bathroom. The best part is there is a massive terrace. Then you continue up the spiral staircase to a large bedroom with multiple beds, a bathroom, and a beautiful terrace where you can see views in all directions. You can see Madrid From the Terrace, and behind you, you have striking, rugged mountains. I wish we would have been there for longer and had time to hike all the trails. We did get a chance to walk down to the small vineyard, taste some grapes, and just enjoy the surroundings.
