I was worried at first that this might be the wrong choice, since it’s a bit far from the park entrance and the main hiking trail. But this place turned out to be absolutely magical. I would recommend it to anyone. While sitting outside on the little terrace, I saw so much wildlife right in front of the cabin: two types of monkeys, an agouti, parrots, a sloth, a squirrel, iguanas, tons of birds, and even a snake. The cabin itself is super comfortable. It feels cozy, and the bed is really nice. Also, it’s easy to catch a small shuttle or bus from here to both the main park entrance and the starting point of the hike to Cabo San Juan, which makes it a really convenient base. Truly an unforgettable stay in Tayrona.

José was incredibly accommodating and helpful, the views were insane, the bed extremely comfortable, and overall the room we stayed in was perfectly isolated and calm (couldn't even hear the road, but you could definitely hear the waves of the sea at night!). The breakfast was freshly prepared every morning and we were treated to local specialities such as cayeye! We would come back in a heartbeat! About the "trek" to get there, we'd say it was more along the lines of 10minutes, and we did it in flip-flops multiple times without a problem, so don't be intimidated by the description!

This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a place designed to disconnect from everything and reconnect with yourself, plus Polo was such an incredible host. Definitely recommend to everyone! The food is amazing, as is the deep peace and beauty you find here. By boat from Santa Marta or from playa Cabo San Juan. Starlink internet works very well and you can even work there. Thank you Kata and the whole team :) We will come back.

Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge by Mareygua is located in Los Naranjos, only 1.5 km away from the entrance of Tayrona National Park in El Zaino. If there was an evaluation over 10,I’d give it. Everything is just perfect in this place. The staff, the location is fully immersed in the jungle and the food it’s great too!! We had only breakfast included and we change option every day,but even the menu a la carte is delicious. You can reach beaches and parque Tayrona waking if you like or just jump on the buses passing over there:)

It's a beautiful accommodations surrounded by nature! The room is your own haven with screened walls on some walls for a bug-free immersion into the forest. Very light/clean/airy! The night insects whistle at night, and you wake to the birds in the morning! The grounds are stunning and immaculate! They have lovely cats & dogs happily enjoying the property with you! Especially Mateo!:: ... They have the best customer service, handling all your needs, and they speak English and Spanish which can be a big plus for travelers! They sent their dogs with me for the back roads hike to beautiful waterfalls! The dogs led the way (pic attached!). Then when I came back, I tracked mud all over my floor. Carmen instantly arrived with a mop and cleaned my floor! Then I had a perfectly clean room again! 👍 .... I fell in love with Trompito, and the staff here mentioned a nice apartment down the road, which ended up being perfect for me, and now I will be neighbors to this lovely accommodations that offers you a unique and complete experience of a lifetime!

This is a beautiful house with outstanding Mountain Views. You can see the dedication of the owner on every detail. It has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. Premium mattress and linens, hot water, tasteful decorations and lots of small details. Yuca restaurant is a few steps away and we enjoyed great breakfast and dinners. Tayrona Park is 10 minutes walking distance.
