Hamad and Hassan were very funny and sweet. We had a lovely time by the fire. Hassan cooked great food for dinner and breakfast. Good value compared with some other places considering dinner and breakfast is included. Room is very comfy, we slept great. Good location, feels very cosy. Hamad is Bedouin and he has some beautiful artefacts to show you and talk about. Make sure you bring cash to pay.

He helped us get to know the place and welcomed us with great warmth.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by kind and hospitable staff. Rajid (sorry for misspell) is man in charge and he does his job well. The camp is located right next to the dunes, allowing for breathtaking views and easy access to the desert. The highlight of our stay was the dune bashing experience—our driver was absolutely perfect, skilled, and made the ride both thrilling and safe. Watching the sunset from the top of the dunes was magical. Also best spot for sunrise just 15 minutes of walk on near dune. The tent (fabric) —featuring comfortable (i prefer hard) mattress, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The bricked private bathroom few steps from tent was clean and well-maintained, which is not always the case in desert camps. So magic of staying in traditional tent yet with luxury of flushing toilet and shower! In the evening, we enjoyed a beautiful night by the fireplace, sipping traditional Omani coffee and tea, available 24/7. The dinner buffet as well as breakfast buffet all freshly prepared and full of flavor. This camp truly offers the perfect balance of adventure, comfort, and hospitality. Whether you’re looking for a dune experience or a peaceful retreat under the stars, this is the best place to stay in Wahiba Sands. Highly recommended!
