It was very nice place. I was even upgraded with the better option. Slept in a tent. There was a mosquito tent in the bed also. So it was very useful. Even though the weather before my visit was very wet, in the tent it felt dry and comfortable. There was enough space in the tent and around. It was the feeling like living in small village. The owner was very friendly and supportive. It was amazing to meet other travelers and have meals and games together. We met there New Year’s night. Had a fire and played games till the midnight to go for the new year’s bonfire. I am very thankful. The stay was amazing and the island is also very beautifully. Real nature sanctuary. If I will be back definitely come here.

Tony's Garden House Back Packers inn asub Jaffnas, Jaffna raudteejaamast 1,3 km ja Nallur Kandaswamy templist 2 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on istumisnurk. Tony is an amazing guy. He's very kind, informative and talkative. The room and bathroom were clean, bed was comfy. It's a 40 mins walk to city centre and 20 mins walk to railway station but you get quiet environment. Totally worth value of money and I would love to stay there again!

Terrassiga Allens home stay asub Jaffnas, 2,2 km kaugusel Jaffna raudteejaamast, 3,1 km kaugusel Jaffna avalikust raamatukogust ja 3,5 km kaugusel Jaffna kindlusest. Excellent host, our stay felt like being a guest at friends home. House is decorated with a taste and art. Breakfast very tasty, fruits and tea available at every moment, all included in the room price. Room is spacy, clean with a comfortble bed.

Butiikhotell Thinnai - All-Suites asub Jaffnas, 1,1 km kaugusel Nallur Kandaswamy templist. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, spordikeskus ja aed. Our room was fantastic. We had a living room area with a big TV and good English channels. There is a large fridge to keep your drinks and snacks cold. A table with 2 chairs for sitting at if working or to use for making coffee or tea with the kettle and mugs provided. A separate bedroom with a large king bed was super comfortable. The mattress was not too hard and the linen was pure cotton. A light duvet is perfect for the temperature. The pillows were 2 per person, 1 king and 1 normal and also so comfortable. We had a good-sized cupboard to hang our clothes, a safe, and an ironing board. The bathroom was en-suite with a good, hot shower, toilet, and basin. The bedroom opened up onto a backyard patio with comfortable benches to sit on if you wanted to be outside but still at your room. The aircon in both the living room and bedroom worked perfectly. They also provide a large umbrella for your use. The swimming pool is lovely, with deck chairs, soft cushions, and shade provided. They also give you swimming pool towels. There is a good-sized gym which we did not use but it looked fully stocked with all the necessary equipment. We ordered room service a few times and the service and food were very good. The actual dining room is fantastic and we enjoyed an evening feasting on a Sri Lankan buffet with loads of different dishes. The staff were all amazing and so helpful. We were able to park our car on the premises where a full-time guard is stationed. They even washed the car for us. It was sad to say goodbye but we loved our stay here in Jaffna.

Absolutely lovely stay at Munril Guest! The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with both air conditioning and a fan. The villa itself is beautiful, with a peaceful and green setting just a few minutes by tuk-tuk from the city center, a perfect balance of quiet and convenience. The facilities are excellent, but what really stands out is the incredible friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. They even offered free rides to local sights, which was a wonderful bonus. Breakfast was also delicious and well-prepared. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaffna!

Leela Resort asub Karainagaris, Jaffna kindlusest vaid 21 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aiavaated, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. It's a beautiful place, the host is really lovely and caring. They even arrange pick up if needed. We got a welcome drink, drinking water was provided, and the host gave us many recommendations for where to get food and what to do in the area.

Borassus Nature Huts asub Jaffnas, 8,8 km kaugusel Jaffna kindlusest ja 10 km kaugusel Jaffna avalikust raamatukogust. Kohapeal on restoran ja tasuta eraparkla. A wonderful experience here. Quite remote and next to a sleepy fishing village, the huts have been lovingly constructed using local materials. They are open to the elements, which allows the fresh ocean breeze to blow through (quite strongly at times!) and keep the rooms cool. Mosquito nets are provided, although we didn’t see any mosquitoes - but still offers protection from various bugs that visit at night, and the pesky flies during the daytime. Some of the huts have steep stairs to access the bedroom upstairs, while the bathroom and toilet are situated separately downstairs (not recommended for the elderly or disabled). However, three new huts have recently opened, that are ground level and have attached bathrooms. The whole place has been built with regard to ecological concerns. The staff (also hired locally) are wonderful and there is a very talented young chef named Ashwin who, in addition to preparing delicious meals, acts as a general manager in the absence of the owner. The property also has its own tuk tuk, which is handy for trips around the island or to Jaffna (29 km away). We would definitely recommend a stay here - it’s a totally different and unique experience, among lovely hospitable people.

The host was amazing so kind and helpful. He really made our stay amazing with an excellent sunset tuk tuk tour of the island, delicious fresh crab dinner and organising our transport to and from the port. Would highly recommend staying here, we loved it!

The house owner Mr Biren Mahendran is very cooperative when booking the house. And the location is very peaceful, beautiful and secure. Well sufficient for a family or a group. Rooms are well cleaned and furniture are modern. Having a modern kitchen with all the necessary equipment. Really enjoyed the stay. The caretaker Mr Kerthi was very much helpful and he's fluent in Sinhala and English. Worth the money. Located in 550m away from Jaffna-KKS road and 9.5 Km away from Jaffna.
