Aia, tasuta privaatse parkla ja restoraniga Thambu Illam asub Jaffnas, 1,9 km kaugusel Nallur Kandaswamy templist. Thambu Illam is a lovely, atmospheric colonial villa in a quiet area of Jaffna. Our double room was simple, but comfortable and there were plenty of areas outside the room - verandahs, garden, interior patio - to sit and relax. Even though the guesthouse doesn't have its own kitchen, the food we ordered through the guesthouse and which the staff served in an open pavillion by the swimming pool was delicious and authentically Sri Lankan. We'd also like to highlight the wonderful treatment we received from the helpful and attentive staff. Among other things, they arranged several tuk tuk rides for us with the incredible Prasath, as well as onward transport.

Allen is an exceptional host and a wonderful person. We felt like home from the first moment. The house is quiet and cozy and Allen’s breakfast delicious. I would stay again 100%. Very good food. The vegetable curry is the best i've had! Luxurious and well made huts. A lot of room, musquito net and musquito spray/diffuser. There is a authentical beach next to the hotel and it makes for a perfect walk with great vieuws of the fisherman and their boats.

This place is just like heaven. The land, the beach, the hut, the shower, everything is ideal. Consy is a wonderful host who knows exactly what travelers need and expect. He also wants to preserve the calm and authenticity of the place, which makes it even more magical. I will never forget my stay there.

The house owner Mr Biren Mahendran is very cooperative when booking the house. And the location is very peaceful, beautiful and secure. Well sufficient for a family or a group. Rooms are well cleaned and furniture are modern. Having a modern kitchen with all the necessary equipment. Really enjoyed the stay. The caretaker Mr Kerthi was very much helpful and he's fluent in Sinhala and English. Worth the money. Located in 550m away from Jaffna-KKS road and 9.5 Km away from Jaffna.

Rose Fort Homestay asub Jaffnas, 5,2 km kaugusel Jaffna raudteejaamast, 6,1 km kaugusel Jaffna avalikust raamatukogust ja 6,4 km kaugusel Jaffna kindlusest. Lovely, cosy spot in Jaffna. Clean accommodation with great air conditioning units in each bedroom. Kaja and his family went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our time in Jaffna. He also had great recommendations for tours and things to do both in Jaffna and other parts of Sri Lanka. Not quite walkable into town due to dogs and traffic but was a short and cheap tuktuk drive away to the main attractions.
