Akira san the owner himself greeted me upon my arrival. He is very polite and friendly. Lodge staff tour me around the facility with a smile on her face. I had a great time and best experience during my stay.

This was such an unforgettable experience. We were supposed to stay for just one night but ended up staying 4! Okay, from the beginning. We had different accommodation in Hakuba, but we weren’t satisfied so we were looking for something else and found Dark Horse by chance. The moment we walked into the house, we were greeted with smiles and warmth. Andy, Rika, Momo and Hana create something truly special. We’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and such, but this one will stay in our hearts for a long time. Everything is well thought out, you can see it’s taken care of down to the smallest detail, you can see it’s done properly and not just to be the cheapest. We felt so beautifully hosted. They also have an amazing sake collection to try, and the food is delicious too. Thank you again and we already miss it. I hope we’ll get the chance to meet again. PS. If you’re wondering whether to book a room at Dark Horse, don’t hesitate!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Nunoya Ryokan se nachází v destinaci Macumoto a nabízí pokoje s výhledem na město. Jen 1 km odtud je Matsumoto železniční stanice. The best stay we had in Japan, by far. The host is an amazing woman, and she makes you feel right at home. It’s an old building, which was no problem for us. The room itself is extremely spacious, and I never expected the futton beds to be some damn comfy. Had the best sleep ever here! WiFi works amazing, breakfast is delicious, and the location couldn’t be better. Amazing street, with good cafes and restaurants and close to the sights. Definitely will be coming back!

Staffs were super kind and the location was awesome right next to the bus station! Hyobin (staff's name) recommended us local travel spots and provided best service! Love to visit again!

The hotel located along the Oito Line that was accessible by car or taxi from Shinano-Matsukawa, Kita-Hosono or Hosono station. We had multiple email and message communications with the owners. Atsu responded to reassure that our commute concern would be solved. He would pick us up and drop off at Hosono station. The price of the hotel was very affordable and could walk to train station if having no luggage. Atsu was very accommodating to our trip plan change. He was thoughtful to drop us to the Shinano-Matsukawa station that the waiting area was warmer & was in town. Guest rooms were on the 2nd floor of a Curry Restaurant. Atsu helped carrying the suitcase up to the room & brought us furniture that we needed. He was also the chef of the restaurant. The food was yummy. We highly recommended this

Ties Camp Ground Nagiso se nachází v destinaci Nagiso a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a výhled na hory. Kotoku-ji Temple se nachází 7,3 km odtud. Everything was so organized! They gave us a camping kit with everything we needed to start a fire, understand the basics of camping and have a comfortable stay. Very thoughtful! The main house is also very clean and was very well equipped. The camping is right by the Nakasendo trail and a perfect stop to rest between Magome and Nojiri.

Our room was very large, new and had all the right facilities, kitchen etc. I really liked the onsen of the hotel, and the breakfast was excellent. Snooker table was a cool addition. Staff was super kind and helpful. 15 min. drive from a ski park, 20 min. from Karuizawa city center.
