This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. We got a very nice little house with everything we needed. The view was outstanding and the parking lot was right next the house.

Ormurinn Cottages se nachází ve městě Egilsstadir. Ve všech prostorách je zdarma dostupné Wi-Fi. Chata má kuchyňský kout, TV s plochou obrazovkou a terasu s grilem (k dispozici pouze v létě). Nice peaceful cottage overlooking the lake. The owner was amazing and helped us with the grill right away

Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. Amazing remote location, with fjords and sea view. Not sure what other types of rooms are there, but ocean view is really worth it, it is breathtaking. Amazing modern, clean room, everything super comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best and most varied throughout our ring road trip. Really nice staff.

The location, the view, and the restaurant are wonderful. Some rooms have direct access to the outdoors which give a different feeling to the location.

Paní hostitelka je velmi milá, přišla nás osobně přivítat a provedla nás po domě. Velice doporučuji.

Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses se nachází v destinaci Egilsstadir a poskytuje zahradu, soukromou pláž, terasu a výhled na hory. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay in the Hengifoss lodge. It's a dream to stay here. Once entered you're greeted by the warm smell of ember caused by the wood that was used to make this house. The colours and the layout of the room is incredibly cosy. The fireplace keeps the house (almost too) warm, and the window + terrace give an exceptional view over the lake and mountains. The hosts are also amazing and gave us the feeling that we're not only welcome, but also that they really understand why we chose to go to Iceland. We asked for help with our fireplace and the host, Isabelle, came to the rescue. She tried to help us to lit a fire but to no avail. We did however have a really good conversation. However when she left, we were content enough. Yet still she knocked on the door and winked us to come over. She told us enthusiastically that the Northern Lights were dancing and fully visible, we had to come outside! The next morning it was kind of raining, a little bit. But the sun was also shining through the clouds. The husband, Steff, called me when I was standing on the terrace. He said: "There is a rainbow there!" and pointed towards slightly behind the house I was standing in front of. I walked to the side and indeed saw a beautiful rainbow. This might not say much to other people wanting to stay there. But to me it feels like these people have such a connection with Iceland, its beauty and understand that we are there for the same connection, they told us to look at beautiful views which Iceland offers, and we were delighted to follow their guidance. Thank you Isabelle and Steff, for the warm welcome. Whenever we're in Iceland and planning to go near Eggs, we will definitely make use of your beautiful little houses.

Hengifosslodge Skáldahús se nachází v destinaci Egilsstadir a nabízí zahradu, soukromou pláž, terasu a výhled na hory. This property was in a remote location but very near the Hengifoss waterfall which was our next stop. Beautiful valley views. Cozy small and comfortable apartment.

Greystone summerhouse se nachází v destinaci Egilsstadir a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a výhled do zahrady. Hengifoss se nachází 37 km odtud. Warm and cozy, yet very quiet and relaxing. The wood just gives you this nice chalet feeling.
