The location next to the lake, the spacious and extremely clean room, the shower with more than sufficient hot water, the clean sheets and comfortable mattress which is firm enough without being too soft for those of us with lower back issues, and Mr. Dimmer who made us feel extremely welcome. He even provided a room for our driver since we arrived much later than expected due to the long line of vehicles waiting to get on the ferry from Parapat to Samosir. We really appreciated everything he did for us.

A good price for what you get. Washrooms are nice and clean. Everyone hangs out in the main shared area (restaurant area) and plays guitar and plays cards in the evening (but not too late, quiet hours are respected). During the rainy season, you can swim in the pools of the waterfall that is literally one second away from the lodge.

This is the most amazing place to stay. I've been to the jungle in India, Borneo and the Phillipines but Rambai Tree Eco Jungle Huts not only provided the most comfortable accommodation but they made us feel like family ❤️🙏. Romi and Tia communicated efficiently and clearly from the moment I booked, several months ago. They provided a very reasonably priced, friendly and knowledgeable return airport shuttle - Wayhu, and the best guides - Ronie and Nanda. We saw Orangutans, Gibbons, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, and a monitor lizard in just a half day trek! As well as being visited daily by the local Macaque troop and several large bats. Tia cooked us the most fantastic farewell dinner and we were genuinely sad to leave. Nothing was too much trouble for them ❤️

Velmi vstřícný personál, dobrá obsluha i perfekt ubytování. Výhodné pro nás, že jsme se mohli domluvit česky. Domluvili zde i další aktivity a výlety. Plně doporučuji. Ivo

Mila Homestay se nachází v destinaci Padang a nabízí ubytování s klimatizací a bezplatným Wi-Fi a terasu. Siti Nurbaya Bridge se nachází 10 km odtud. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. The host was the best woman we ever met. She was really helpful and willing to give us any kind of information. She helped us with moving around letting us her scooter and also dropped us off at the airport. If you want to feel confortable and in good hands, this hostel is the best option in Padang.

Asim Paris Guesthouse & jungle trekking se nachází v destinaci Bukit Lawang a má zahradu, soukromou pláž, terasu a bezplatné Wi-Fi. The family room was spacious and aircon runs cold. Although there isn't hot water for shower, the staff brought us buckets of hot water each day, and that was adequate to bathe my child. They also arranged the jungle trek for us, we were able to trek directly from the guest house. It's also located very close to the bat cave, 10-mins walk and we highly recommend visiting these caves, and with a local guide hired at the entrance. Without the guide we wouldn't have known where to go.

I very much enjoyed my stay here. I spent 2 nights before my jungle trek and 1 night after. I booked the 2 day/1 night jungle trek with them as well. I actually think that is the only way you can stay at their guesthouse, so they ensure that their trekking clients have accommodation. Communication with the manager, Dedycool was faultless, from the time i made my initial inquiry to when the driver picked me up at the airport. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've had in 5 months of travel, and the AC did the job. The staff could not have been more welcoming, both upon arrival and every time I came for a meal or returned from an outing. The location outside of the village ensured a peaceful nights sleep. I enjoyed the 30 minute walk to the center, allowing me to see people going about their daily lives. The jungle trek was phenomenal in every way. Both guides, Edwin and Janet, were professional and got excited when we saw orangutans (we saw 7). The food both at the guesthouse and on the trek was very tasty. The trekking was challenging but not overly so. It was fun scrambling up hillsides using vines and roots as foot and hand holds. The camping was much more comfortable than I expected. The camping mats were thick, and the lightweight sleeping bag was just right for the temperature. The rafting back to the village was super fun and a great way to end the 2 days in the jungle. I'm very pleased with my decision to book through Sumatra Orangutans Treks.
