Victor and his family were so kind and welcoming. I arrived to a lovely fire and within a few minutes of arriving had a meal ready for me. Breakfast was a huge meal and prices for the lunch is really good. It was such a nice place with beautiful view, so quiet and peaceful and right next to the start of the quilotoa loop trek.

You can play table tennis at this 3-star hotel, and the area is popular for cycling. Javier was a super host! He made a great breakfast and 3 course dinner, was very friendly and went above and beyond with advice for different treks as he used to be a guide. Also, he would help with anything you need. We were a bit cold at night so he gave us a heater and a large blanket. The location is really close to the main highway so it's easy to get to and to go on day trips but you're far away enough in nature that you don't realize it. They have a nice kitchen and a nice common area with a fireplace. There wearnt many people so it's quieter, which for me was nice to have a small group vibe.
