Located in Playa Junquillal, within 600 metres of Junquillal Beach, Blue Window Boutique Villas Hotel is an accommodation offering pool views. I had the best time here!!! The apartments are so beautiful and you feel at home as soon as you enter it. It’s made with much love and has a beautiful design. The location is of course a bit off but you have 2 restaurants in walking distance and so many nice beaches around. Out of all my accommodations I had in CR this was my favorite. Also the owner is just the best person ever! Such a warmhearted, funny woman, always there to help if you need anything! :))

Located in Sámara, Casa Terra Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. I've stayed at Casa Terra for almost 4 weeks because I went to Intercultura Language School nearby to learn Spanish. I felt very comfortable and at home at Casa Terra. It was always very clean. Also, I enjoyed being surrounded by nature and since it was not on the main road, it was really quiet at night. The walk to the beach is about 8 minutes, the walk downtown around 15 minutes. The volunteers Constance and Carolina as well as the owners were always happy to help with questions and organizing tours and often hung out with us at the hostel. I can fully recommend staying there.
