The place doubles up as student dormitory and a hotel and had really neat social areas. Things like pool and table tennis available for free. The biggest surprise was the laundry on site had no charge. Just simply download their app and book a machine. Plus that beautiful McDonald's is literally a 5 min walk down the hill.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for their exceptional care, both before and during our stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten-free needs and helped organize a surprise for my mom’s birthday. They even arranged for a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which was presented to her during breakfast, moving her to tears—a truly touching moment. The property is stunning, intimate, with exposed stone walls, an impeccable design, and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fantastic, offering plenty of variety, and I loved the thoughtful touch of cakes, water, and coffee available throughout the day. Such a lovely idea! The location is perfect, right in front of the Douro River. I highly recommend booking a room with a view on the fourth floor! Just outside, you'll find charming riverside restaurants, perfect for both quiet evenings and livelier settings. There’s music in the streets, yet the hotel remains a peaceful haven. I absolutely adored the high ceilings and the overall atmosphere. Thank you for your professionalism and for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommended!

I was traveling with my friend. We took a month-long trip around different cities of Europe and this was by far the best accomodation of them all! It had absolutely everything we needed and more (things we didn’t even know we needed). The room was very cozy, spacious and clean. The location was great and the staff was incredible, very accomodating and always willing to help. They had the best attitude and were super friendly and kind. We would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend it.

    Place was very clean, we stayed 2 night and room was cleaned in the morning which was really nice surprise. Location is great close to shoping centre, caffes & reataurants. Metro is just at the top of the street, we find that short distances are cheaper with uber.

    The location is ideal, it's close to all the attractions and restaurants by foot. The staff is super friendly and they managed to answer all my requests. Room and shared bathroom were very clean and safe. Even though it was in the middle of the city center, I didn't hear any noise at night.
