We had the most incredible experience staying at Mu Cang Chai Big View Homestay! From the moment we arrived (very late at night, and still were picked up), we were warmly welcomed by the owner - Chua. The homestay is nestled in a breathtaking location with panoramic views of the rice terraces — it's like waking up in a postcard every morning. The highlight of our stay was definitely the motorbike tour organized by Chua. This is an absolute must-do if you're staying here! Chua took us through some of the most stunning and authentic parts of the region — lush rice fields, quiet mountain paths, and hidden viewpoints you’d never find on your own. He went extra mile and even took videos and photos of us and the rice fields with his drone which he then shared the footage with us. If you're looking for a place that offers not just a stay, but a real experience of local life and natural beauty, this is it. We left with full hearts and memories we’ll cherish forever. Thank you Chua and your incredible family — we can't wait to come back!

Zoni Home Trạm Tấu se nachází v destinaci Cham Ta Lao a má restauraci, sdílenou kuchyň, bar, zahradu a výhled na hory. Skvělý pobyt, majitel a jeho syn byli velmi milí. Dokonce s námi zajel do servisu, když jsme při odjezdu zjistili, že máme píchlou pneumatiku. Dávali jsme si na místě i večeři a bylo to opravdu výborné.

The family in the homestay is really nice, there is an great vibe with the other travellers, and the food is amazing. We did a whole day trek with Yien and I would definitely recommand, it was really interesting to learn more about the Hmong culture!

Make sure you do a walk of the surrounding area, it is absolutely beautiful here. The food was some of the best I had in Vietnam, including the happy water. I would definitely book again, lovely place, lovely family

Měli jsme s touto rodinou krásný pobyt v Nghia Lo. Hostitelka byla vždy veselá a nápomocná. Vařila výborné jídlo, opravdu jedno z nejlepších, co jsme ve Vietnamu jedli a za přesně takovou cenu, jakou jsme očekávali. Spolu s vnukem nás vzali na místní horké prameny a skvěle jsme si s nimi povídali přes Google překladač. Jeden z nejkrásnějších zážitků za 2 měsíce ve Vietnamu. Děkujeme!

Xoi Farmstay - A Home Farm in Lam Thuong valley - North Vietnam se nachází v destinaci Lung Co (1) a poskytuje zahradu, terasu, bar a výhled na hory. A really lovely homestay in a peaceful little town. Perfectly situated between Sapa and Ha Giang to split up your journey. Xoi and her family are extremely kind and hospitable hosts. The traditional rustic bungalows are comfortable, private and really clean with a great running hot water system! Really appreciated the free water included and family dinner for 150k pp is a must. Just note that due to the location, there aren’t restaurants or cafes around and the shops have little variety for snacks. Not a problem for us, just part of the adventure!

Homestay Ngọc Thủy Điểm dừng chân lên Đồi Mâm Xôi se nachází v destinaci Mù Cang Chải a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi a zahradu s terasou a výhledem na řeku. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. Host is pretty friendly but doesn’t speak any English (but it’s ok we used google translate) :). There’s a pretty nice sitting/chilling area at the back with a very nice view. Beds are a bit hard in the dorm but it’s like everywhere else around here. They can cook good food for you. They offer basically just the one meal for dinner (meat, tofu, eggs and rice with some greens) and for breakfast (ramen noodles with an egg). Dinner is very affordable (50k) and breakfast is included. The building is right next to the road, so there’s a bit of road noises but nothing that disturbed my sleep. Loved this homestay! :)
