We really enjoyed our time in Cat Ba thanks to the great location. We had a private room and it was very spacious and clean. The hostel also offers very tasty breakfast and is located in a very good location to reach restaurants, bars and the town center by foot. The property manager Gem truly was a Gem and helped out with everything we needed. I can recommend everyone to spend your time in Cat Ba at Napoli Hostel! You will not regret it

You need a motorbike to visit the national park and the beaches but you can rent one in the guest house with 100.000 dong/ day. Also you can arrange your Lan ha bay cruise here, with minimal effort as they pick you up from the guest house in the morning and drop you off in the evening, with no need to search for agencies in the touristic port of Cat ba.. The prices are everywhere the same. The family who runs this place is extremely kind, attentive and always smiling. This romantic homestay is ideal for couples, families and travellers who love nature and are looking for a pure experience in the rural side of Vietnamese life. We absolutely loved this place and the hosts!!!

Situated in Cat Ba, Cat Ba Bay Cruises offers beachfront accommodation less than 1 km from Tung Thu Beach and provides various facilities, such as water sports facilities, a terrace and a bar. Our cruise guide was very nice, polite, and helpful. The program was very well organised and we had the chance to visit nice places before the tourist crowds were arriving. Visiting Viet Hai village and fish farm was a nice surprise.

300 metres from Hospital Cave, Cat Ba Countryside Homestay is a recently renovated property set in Cat Ba and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The staff were so friendly and helpful for our whole stay. We hired a scooter at short notice and ate there at least once a day, the food was great. The private room accomodation is spacious and great value for money. It's away from the main town so very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature and close to the national park hikes and caves. Highly recommended.
