This was a really exceptional stay! Taaj Residence is well situated in central Skardu, but very quiet. The garden is as beautifully maintained as the whole Residence. Staff is incredibly warm und helpful, they go out of their way to help you or arrange something for you, the also have a good address book! Food was lovely (the mother is an excellent cook!) and eating in the garden, soúrrounded by roses, cherry trees and apricot trees is a real treat. The bathroom is all in white - and so clean! Hot water runs in the morning and in the evening, electricity was always available and also WIFI worked well. The bed was good too. I will come back to Taaj Residence for sure!

"I had an incredible stay at Hounza Lounge! The room with a balcony offered breathtaking views of Rakaposhi and Diran Mountain – waking up to that scenery was a dream. The room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed, making it feel like a true retreat. The staff were amazing, especially Amir, who was thoughtful and seemed to anticipate all my needs. I initially booked for one night but ended up staying for a month because of the peaceful atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from Karimabad Bazaar. A special thank to the owner, Noushad, who went above and beyond to help me organize my trips, guide, taxidriver and make sure I had everything I needed. This is by far the most peaceful place in Karimabad, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!"

The restaurant serves fresh, delicious local food that left me wanting more — definitely one of the best meals I had during my trip! Whether you're visiting for a night or planning a longer stay, I highly recommend Rakaposhi Amin Hotel. Very quiet and peaceful near edge of town. The guesthouse is located at the back of the property with views of beautiful terraced garden and surrounding peaks. Facilities are comfortable. Siraj was an amazing host, very welcoming and attentive. He was really helpful with arranging tours as well.

It was in the centre of Skardu, but not on a noisy main street. The facility consists of two buildings on either side of a relaxing, lush green garden. After your day trip, it's a great idea to sit in the garden, relax, have some tea or coffee, and chat. If you let them know in advance, you can also have dinner here. The meals are definitely sufficient amount and taste like home cooking. Besides of that we have picked and taste fresh cherries from the tree which is at the garden.

It was excellent value for money. Guests can enjoy access to the rooftop, which even has a cherry tree bearing fruit. I’ll definitely be coming back!
