Great to be able to see the sea. Can walk just across the road to the beach which was clean. Expect to see the ships and loading places over to the right out in the sea due to the location. There are local places to eat available right across the road on the beach, and/or within walking distance. If people want more expensive restaurants, then they may have a longer walk or need to drive. The studio apartment was clean with a fridge and all that is needed in the kitchenette if one is doing some light cooking. The owner provided a great water filter that provides both cool and hot water! Netflix was freely available to watch movies or listen to music on a big TV. It has a love seat (size for 2) and small round rubberwood table with chairs in the dining area by the door opening out on to the balcony. There was a washing machine if one is staying longer and a line on the balcony. It was good having the 'rake' to push water down the drain after showering and mop in a corner of the bathroom. The owner obviously is a football fan ☺ There is a lift/elevator across from the room (though we didn't discover that the first evening).

We also loved the big bathroom with a bath and separate sinks. The bed was super comfy and the location was good for exploring the main areas of Malacca. Also really appreciated the host receiving us for check-in.

Location was fantastic, so close to Jonker street and many of the Melaka sites. Great food and coffee shops nearby. The room was beautiful and clean with a great view over the river with lots of nightlife and never a dull moment. Beds very comfortable, showers awesome. Host was very responsive to any queries. The swimming pool was fabulous. This property is definitely worth every penny. Even a great barber (Barbers Pole) around the corner if you need a trim. Checkin was super simple and no deposit required. Yeah! Loved our stay.
